It is my opinion that this resort is not exactly the best bang for the buck. With 7 swimming pools, several arcades, gold courses all over, fun activities for everybody and over 140,000 acres of land you would think it would be a paradise but it's really not. This is a timeshare resort so keep that in mind if one chooses to stay there. It's optional but they will try to upsale you. The resort fell badly with our families expectations with no room service and housekeeping is dependant on how long the stay is. Anything less than 10 days, you won't get housekeeping unless you pay for it. You have to do your own laundry which is free, thankfully, but not in room unless you "rent" a one, two, or three bedroom. [We had what is considered a studio] They provided dishes and silverware in the kitchenette, which came with a dishwasher and microwave oven. Basically it's just like living in a your own home but your paying more for it. They have a Lazy River, over at River Island but the lack of lifeguards and rule enforcers resulted in my disabled mother being hit, punched, and stepped on by children who should have been supervised. You have to pay for a tube rental but since nobody was enforcing that, anybody was getting a pool tube. A disappointment that was. On the upside there is a pretty nice Watersports area on a lake that includes Jet Skis, kayaks, wakeboarding and paddleboats. You can also schedule scubba and swim lessons. There's a hot tub and putt putt golf in the main area along with a bar and a pretty decent restaurant with great queso. The resort was fairly good with accommodating our allergens. Overall during the 8 day stay, it was a good experience even with the several setbacks such as the clear lack of disability access and accommodations. While I had fun and crossed off a bucket list item, it wasn't worth the cost and I doubt I'll return. I appreciate what they did do but it wasn't a fit for me...
Read moreThe resort is very nice. The two bedroom villa was beautiful. The only minor complaint is I wish there were ceiling fans and our refrigerator would occasionally make annoying noises, oh and theres no HBO or movie channels. But the grounds here are beautiful. Everything is well kept and spacious. The pools are definitely the selling point, most water parks dont have this large of a lazy river. However, we got to the pool the first night at 6pm and there were no towels or a way to get tubes. We asked someone and he gave us towels but didn't tell us we could go over to the golf area to get our wristbands. But the amenities are amazing. Breakfast buffet is meh, we waited 20 minutes when there was plenty of seating but the hostess clearly needed help, shes super friendly though. It's a normal IHG breakfast you have to pay for but the bottomless mimosa makes up for it. The service however sucks. I had to ask 3 times for milk for my daughters cereal. But there are tons of restaurants near by, the location is great. And Uber Eats will deliver which is nice after a long day. The restaurants for lunch and dinner are good when it comes to price and a quick meal. But if you want delicious go elsewhere. I know this sounds like a negative review, it's not. The golfing here is nice. Its beautiful..so many pools, games, events, putt put, and lots of activities for the whole family. If you want to come without kids theres opportunities for it to be romantic. I highly suggest this place, because of the space , location, price,...

I actually am an owner here at Orange Lake and I'm very happy this time share has gotten me all over the place I'm staying in top line accommodations all over the world and not paying barely anything for it other in my monthly fee till it's paid off then i just pay my maintenance which is well worth it. The way I have traveled this year I would have spent over $6000 on my hotel's alone and I stayed in top of the line resorts and Crown plazas and intercontinentals which cost me my maintenance fee which is only 1000.00 a year. If you don't own a time share this is definitely the place to own in. I own in the Cape canaveral Resort and I've never been there You don't have to they were you on I have over 12000 places that I can go all over the world then the company has grown a lot in the last year and a half i have owned. The picture I included is from my Penthouse Room from my trip to Miami before hurricane Irma in the Hollywood Crown plaza. i love...
