Mattress Firm Pittsburgh Mills — Hotel in Frazer Township

We did quite a bit of shopping around for beds knowing we wanted a memory foam or hybrid bed. We went to Mattress warehouse, the original mattress factory, Mattress firm, and researched many online mattress brands. We had a deposit on a good deal on a tempur pedic form Mattress factory, but ultimately ended up going with mattress firm for two reason. The first and a big one was the Ron and Kevin, and the top notch customer service we received from them. The second is the comfort of the serta mattress and being able to know what you are getting by actually laying on a mattress in store. The service again was excellent in being able to answer all of our questions, trying to help us pick the best mattress in our price range. The tempur pedic deal was with an adjustable base and a special price on the mattress form a trade show. Ron matched the deal we had on the tempur pedic and this was a big thing that sold us. The delivery team was also very professional and extremely fast. There was an issue that the truck broke down, and our 1-8 pm delivery ended up being a 9:30 delivery. They did call and communicate this all to us however, and when they guys came they were very professional and extremely fast.

I'm knocking off 1 star, not because of the store itself really, but because of the price. I do feel Ron gave us a good deal on the mattress and frame itself, and to me it was worth it to pay the extra to be able to know what I am getting. However, I am still a bit skeptical about the serta brand's long term reliability and customer service. I also know I could have gotten what would be considered a similar quality memory foam online with base for about 2/3 the cost, but then you don't know what you are getting, and the online retailers are brand specific. If I were still a poor college student, I would go with an online memory foam, but being able to spend a little more now I was definitely willing to for the peace of mind. i would like to see the retail stores prices come closer to the online prices. We shopped at the Pittsburgh Mills location because we live roughly a mile and a half from there. We were greeted by both employees with big smiles as soon as we walked in this morning. Roger was the salesperson who introduced himself to us and we began to discuss what we were looking for. He asked if we had completed a mattress match questionnaire online. I said that we had and we’re matched up with several types of mattresses. And we would like to know more about each one that was suggested as a match for us. Roger began by asking more questions about our personal “needs”, likes and dislikes with our current mattress and just general questions to really get a feel for what we were looking for. We never felt pressure to make a quick decision or purchase this morning. We tested five mattresses from the “Rolls Royce” of mattresses to the lower end of pricing. Again, we did not feel pressured to make our decision. Roger listened to our comments of each mattress and continued to give us excellent information and answered every question that we had. Finally, we made the decision to purchase. Roger processed our sale and fully explained the terms and conditions of the sale. We scheduled a delivery date and left feeling fully grateful that Mattress Firm was our first stop this morning. We left the house agreeing that we would go to three places. Roger was “our guy” and we both knew that we did not need to look any further. 100% satisfaction. The best experience we’ve ever had making a substantial purchase. What was intentionally just a trip out to look at beds with my significant other, turned into one of the most enjoyable purchasing experience we've ever had. Met one of the best Salesmen in my life, Kevin Delancey, without him coming off as your "stereotypical salesman." Kevin was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and sincere throughout the visit. The store itself was clean and presentable. The models on display looked pristine. The prices seemed reasonable. But, the true value of this review is highlighting the excellent service that we received. Kevin helped us select a bed that we are truly excited about purchasing, and cannot wait to have the best sleep either of us has had since... well, since we were probably kids able to sleep in any position. Would highly recommend my friends, and strangers, to this location. And when the time comes, we know where we'll be buying another bed for the spare room (that is if we are still in the area). Though we had little interaction with Ron, the other salesman, and Dan, the Area Manager (if recalled correctly), they were friendly and polite as well as they assisted Kevin in getting us our 1st! bed purchase. One more thing - Kevin even carried the pillows out to the vehicle for us and opened the passenger door for my Lady. Need I say it again?...
