Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Frazer Township

I recently visited Sonic with high expectations, hoping for a delicious meal and refreshing drinks. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of what I had hoped for. From overcooked onion rings to an improperly mixed strawberry slush, and cold burgers, my visit left me quite disappointed.

Firstly, the onion rings were a major letdown. They were noticeably overcooked and came out of the fryer hard and unappetizing. Instead of the crispy, golden rings I had anticipated, they were overly crunchy and lacked the desired texture. It was evident that they had been left in the fryer for too long, resulting in a rather unpleasant taste.

To add to my disappointment, the strawberry slush I ordered was not even properly mixed. It was as if the syrup and ice were barely blended together, resulting in a drink that lacked consistency and flavor. The lack of effort in preparing a simple slush was quite surprising and left me feeling unsatisfied.

Additionally, the burgers I received were disappointingly cold. When I unwrapped them, I expected a warm and juicy patty, but instead, I was met with a chilled and unappetizing burger. It was clear that the burgers had been sitting around for a while before being served, and the lack of attention to detail was disheartening.

Overall, my experience at Sonic was far from satisfactory. The overcooked and hard onion rings, poorly mixed strawberry slush, and cold burgers all contributed to a disappointing visit. I had hoped for a tasty and enjoyable meal, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I hope that Sonic can improve their attention to detail and ensure that their food is prepared and served with more care...

Stopped in here because I grew up eating sonic and hadn’t been in a while. Placed an order for a couple of burgers and waited... And waited and waited. I hit the button to remind them of my order from 20 minutes prior and the young lady said she sent another woman out and she couldn’t find me. I told her that I haven’t moved and she rudely cut me off and said she was sending it out. The lady that came out was a sweeter older lady who apologized and I told her it was fine but wanted to know if the burgers had been in that bag for a while and she said they had and asked if I minded waiting for new food and I told her I would be happy to wait for fresh food and it was fine because everyone makes mistakes and they were pretty busy. She thanked me and went back inside. Fifteen minutes later she walked out with my food and handed me a shake and said I’m sorry for the inconvenience so I gave you ice cream because who can be mad at ice cream. She was very sweet. And she was right I couldn’t be mad at a shake. Then I opened my first burger and ketchup and mustard plopped out and the burger was ice cold. The second burger was hot though sooo you tell me. I had spent around 15 minutes longer there than I was suppose to for lunch and I can tell you the only reason I stayed was because of how nice the older lady that brought me my food was. As for the rude lady inside behind the microphone I’m sure she could use some more training or be let go. Update: So I hate to do this, but I spent $70 last night on Sonic. I ordered through their app. Now usually I do know that they take kind of a while to bring the order out, but it’s made to order and they’re pretty busy usually so for me, that’s expected. With that being said, I stopped at the store before picking up my food, which took about 20 minutes. It also took me about 10 minutes to get to Sonic from the store. After checking in, it took about 20 extra minutes for them to bring the food out. When the girl brought the food out, she brought 1 hotdog and said “have a good night”. I told her I had a bunch of food and she said “oh I did see that. I’ll be right back”. Like what??? So then she brings the rest of the food in this tiny bag that was overflowing and she also brought out the drinks. The food was cold and hard and the floats were melted and spilling all down the sides of the cups. She also told me that the slushie machine broke while she was making them, so she filled them the rest of the way with ice cream. Honestly, I was so irritated at that point that I just took them and left. The drinks were so disgusting. They tasted like fermented ice cream made with sea water. I am very disappointed and I don’t know that I will be back again. Sorry Sonic
