I went to this salon yesterday after work. I waited nearly 40 minutes for someone to get started on me. After reviewing the services, what they included & the prices I was disappointed. For a regular pedicure with gel polish you spend nearly $60 & they don't do any real work on your feet. I am heading out of town this morning and didn't have time to explore other places. I needed to get in and out. Well, I ended up being the last client there and leaving almost an hour after the salon officially closed. I chose the color, Ferrari Red, for both my nails & toes. But, as soon as the lady began to use the polish I stopped her and asked if the polish had an orange undertone. She assured me that it did NOT. So, I get in true sunlight this morning and see that it is indeed red orange polish, which I STRONGLY DISLIKE on my nails. So, I am heading out of town with a color on my nails I did not want and took the time to clarify before getting the polish on. I am going to a range of formal events at my conference and wanted the right color. I called the salon and they told me that I have 5 days to get a color change. When I explained that I am leaving town and will not return until next week, after the 5-day window, she said it is their policy. She said that after that, I have to pay for the polish change or they can offer 10% off. I paid double for this visit than I did at a salon I go to in Alexandria. But, the experience has been worse. This was an error on the part of the business, not me. I immediately asked about the color once it was opened and applied and was assured that it was solid red, with no orange. That should be unacceptable to the management and as a first time customer my satisfaction should be guaranteed. I’ve been wanting to check out La Vie En Nails Bar and Spa ever since I saw the “Coming Soon” sign go up back in April—and I’m SO glad I finally got to go! As soon as they opened, I made sure to stop in, and let me tell you, it was 100% worth it.

First off, the spa is STUNNING—beautifully designed with a luxurious, sleek, modern vibe that feels upscale from the moment you walk in. Everything, right down to the pedicure chairs, is top-tier quality. They truly didn’t cut any corners. One of the nicest touches? They offer complimentary wine, mimosas (which were delicious!), juice, or water while you’re being pampered. We did have to wait about 15–20 minutes before being serviced, but honestly, with a mimosa in hand, we didn’t mind at all.

My wife and I opted for the Tropical Delight Detox Pedicure, and we were lucky to have Dawson and Alice as our technicians. Dawson nailed the French design I wanted—clean, classy, and exactly how I envisioned it. Plus, his leg massages? 10/10! My wife couldn’t stop smiling after her service with Alice—she left with feet that were soft, smooth, and beautifully done. Alice truly worked magic!

They also have a selection of trendy, emerging gel polishes I’ve never even seen before—so fun to try something unique and stylish. To top it all off, we received 20% off for their grand opening. You just can’t go wrong with quality service and a discount! This place has officially become our one and only nail spot going forward. Can’t wait...

I walked into this nail salon not planning to get anything done for myself, as I solely wanted to treat my mom to a pedicure during her birthday week. However, by the end of the experience, my mom happily walked out with relaxed feet, and I too with beautifully designed nails!!

I found this place from instagram and took a liking to Nini’s nail work, and it just so happened to be that Nini herself was in charge of my pedicure, so I knew I was going to be in good hands. I showed her the design I wanted, and throughout the whole process, she managed my hands with care and precision, while also making sure that I was okay physically, considering that this was also my first time ever getting a proper pedicure.

Now, I will say that this was one of the most biggest expenses I’ve ever made for someone- heck, even for myself, but seeing how my mom was relaxed and loving the service, and considering how Nini helped make me comfortable in all aspects, it was all worth it for sure.
