I have had the most frustrating retail and customer service experience with the management at this location and will NEVER return as either a customer or a seller.
I was offered an amount for some designer watches I was interested in selling but as the offer was less than 10% of the original sale price I declined their offer preferring to keep them rather than sell at such a loss.
After leaving the store, I received a call from the staff asking at what price Iâd be willing to sell. Surprised, I gave what I thought was a fair offer and they agreed to pay the price suggested if I would return to the store. This is after a 70 minute appraisal despite my items being the only ones under consideration on a rainy Thursday afternoon.
Upon returning, in addition to wasting my time over the additional half-hour that followed, the manager on duty proceeded to change the offer with each staff member that she sent out to speak with me when I asked for clarification on the agreed upon terms.
After she reduced the price an additional 20-30% from what was agreed upon over the phone between the three associates sent out, I refused the offer on ethical and personal grounds.
I have never had such an abhorrent encounter with staff as ineffective and inexperienced as those at this location. Lily, the manager on duty, represented the franchise terribly with poorly disguised bias and racism in her customer service.
The behavior displayed was completely unacceptable and a frustrating waste of time.

   Read moreI had the same exact issue as Sharon Hartz (another person who commented). I came in yesterday (2/23/25) and brought in three bags of clothes. This was my first time ever coming here. I was told that all of my clothes were rejected due to quality which doesnât make sense to me because the MAJORITY of the clothes still had tags on them and have never been worn. Not only that but most of the brands that I brought that they were taking WERE displayed on the sign in their store. After being rejected, I went to my car and found all of the clothes and accessories in the SAME order that I left them in. I know for a fact that they did not check any of those bags. Not only that but it took them 10 minutes to text me that they were done and to come pick up my belongings. Thatâs how I know that they didnât look. Whenever I go to Platoâs, it takes them over 30 minutes to an hour to text me back because they actually LOOK through my stuff. Stop hiring people who donât want to do their job. Clearly you havenât had a conversation with your team about it. Sharon Hartz commented over a month ago about the SAME issue and it still hasnât been corrected? I want to bring this to corporate and complain because this is absolutely unacceptable and NOT how you run a business. They couldâve told me that they werenât taking anything for the day and I wouldâve left without an issue but to waste gas money to drive down to Fredericksburg with Sunday traffic and waste my time is ridiculous.    Read moreI went in here to purchase some work clothes because I really hate spending a ton of money on brand new ones. While looking around, I had to make 2 separate trips to my fitting room to drop clothes off because I struggle with a shoulder condition and have a hard time carrying a lot of stuff at one time. After trying on a few items, I decided on one dress and hung the rest back up and placed all of the items together (dresses on one holder and pants on another). I did leave them in the fitting room with the door open and walked out to look for shoes. While walking around, I could very clearly hear the two women working complaining about the fact that I had left the items in the fitting room. One of them slammed the door shut and they both continued to say things like âitâs not that hardâ and âwhy canât people just pick up their own s**tâ. All the while I was still browsing. This upset me and when I went towards the front, one of the girls saw me and seemed surprised I was still in the store. I did tell them that it would probably be best if they waited until people left before complaining about them and didnât purchase anything.
