Sorry not pleased at all, 1st No Parking so we thought it must be worth the walk. We chose to sit outside since it was a very nice day.

2nd we was given chips and ( not salsa I still don't know what it was but it had a lot of cumin. The soup was ( tortilla soup was not too bad . I did not like the tacos the tortilla seemed like it was not cooked slightly warm with cheese between two tortillas.

I ordered one crane asada, and one shrimp with the beans and rice. The shrimp one I gave to my daughter since it was a baby shrimp maybe two inside . The carne asada I thought would be better. No it was small chunks of meat not tender chewy. This is not what I'm used to as far as taco's or beans and rice. Beans tasted like can and rice not Spanish rice.

Being from Coloado and raised on true mexican food this is far from it . I tried to tell my daughter's I will go for you and then you can decide you know the difference.

I have been here since 1996 and am still hopeful to find good mexican food which I have found a few places that I would go back too. Everyone has a different palette. Try it for yourself we are...

This place is a must! We had dinner there last night and everything was fantastic! The service is top notch and they keep the place very clean. We have always gone to the one located on Caroline Street in the city of Fredericksburg which we love. So when we left last night dummy me left me jacket and wallet which had a very sizable amount of cash in it. Nervous as hell I returned this morning totally expecting my jacket and wallet to have been stolen. Much to my surprise the waiter recognized me and grabbed both my wallet and jacket and gave them to me. All of my cash was there. I couldn't believe it. I had also taken an item home last night and he asked how I liked it. He totally made me feel like family. Such a...

Bring your appetite! We've been frequenting Soup & Taco and Soup & Taco II for 15 years and never once have had a bad meal. This Mexican/Latin American restaurant has become one of our favorites in Fredericksburg. The Cream of Crab is a signature soup AND SECOND TO NONE! You won't go wrong with either black bean or chicken tortilla soup either. I'm not sure how they make the salsa, but it's incredible. WARNING the salsa and chips are addictive. Save room for the entrees! I've tried everything on this menu, and it doesn't disappoint. Tacos del Birria are my favorite (this month). The staff is the best. The owners are hard-working and extremely charitable within our community. Do yourself a favor...

I love the tacos here! We ordered our food to go and enjoyed a margarita and a beer on the outside patio as we waited. They have very friendly staff and make a good drink. The food is terrific and filled with awesome flavor, yet simple and easy for a quick snack or a fulfilling lunch/dinner. The location seems perfect for walking from the UMW or from the downtown. It’s away from the crowds and across the street from Freddy Doughnuts. They have plenty of locals and foot traffic to make up for the lack of a parking lot. Inside is cozy and there is also a small bar. We preferred to sit outside under an umbrella and we had a puppy with us. This is a great local gem and I highly recommend a visit.
