If I could give negative stars I would. I went in on Sunday and the customer service was amazing. The sales rep was very nice and attentive. Of course he is a sales rep so of course they try to sale the most expensive mattress and adjustable bed frame first which is fine because I usually don’t have my mind made up about what I really want until I am in the moment. However I did request a mattress and box spring because I just don’t think I am into the adjustable bed frames. Plus the reviews I had read on the L300 were extremely lackluster. I guess my request for the box spring fell on death ears because I was never shown any nor were any suggested to me... only the adjustable. I didn’t feel like arguing so I just went with it even though i could have saved $400. If I don’t like the adjustable I will just trash it and buy a box spring SOMEWHERE ELSE! Unfortunately most of the mattresses that I liked were unavailable and would not be delivered until December. Not the store’s fault. I did find one I liked. Has ok reviews but I am willing to give it a try. I was told it could be delivered on Wednesday. I requested delivery on Thursday since my new bed would be delivered on Wednesday. I didn’t want the mattress to arrive before the bed. Sooooo 4 days later my new bed is in and all set up and beautiful! Star Furniture got it there right at 12:00pm on Wednesday and they called me the day before as promised and gave a 4 hour window of 12-4. Because I got my bed from the clearance center they use an independent delivery service so I didn’t even pay for the delivery until after they arrived and took down my old bed and set up the new one and they hauled off the old one as well. On Wednesday I never got the call from Mattress Firm to narrow down the 9-5 delivery window. Of course I took the whole day off so anytime was fine but I wanted to run out and vote and run errands so I logged on to the track my delivery only to find the delivery had not been routed. I tried to use chat and no agents were available. I called the 800 and no one answers so I had to wait until 10am to call the store. I called and come to find out they told me I had a $66 balance and delivery cannot be done with a balance. I was told the balance would be removed but I would not get delivery until Friday😡 . That sucks!!!!!! I could have paid any balances when I was there on Sunday. I paid the amount I was told so I don’t even know where the $66 came from. I wasted a day off work and no one bothered to call and tell me I had a balance which I would have been happy to pay! Instead they just don’t deliver and you have to call and hunt down your item, but they sure don’t mind charging the delivery fee up front! I bet if they charged it at delivery drop off they would have called me to straighten up that $66 balance. I should have purchased the mattress at Star Furniture when I got my bed. The main reason I didn’t is because mattress stores usually have better deals. I guess you live and learn. I won’t be purchasing here anymore and if my mattress and adjustable frame aren’t delivered tomorrow I will be requesting a refund and going back to Star. I am willing to pay more for guaranteed services...
Read moreVery disappointed with Mattress Firm. My wife and I purchased a mattress on 7/31/23. During the selling process we were not told that the mattress was used. We were shown a new mattress at a higher price, but the saleswoman said that she had the same mattress at another location for $250. She never told us that the mattress at the other location was used. I initialled the extended price of $250 on the order receipt. She did not point out the fine print of no warranty, pre-owned, or no exchanged before I paid in full. I initialled to confirm my correct address on the receipt . I was told to sign "your chosen delivery service"and she said that she would fill out the page. After the transaction was completed, she folded the entire purchase receipt and gave it to us. When we looked at the purchase receipt at home, we saw yellow highlighted sections of no warranty and pre-owned mattress. We were led to believe that we were getting a new mattress. Even the literature said what to "expect from your new mattress". $250 for a used mattress is not worth it. We have been taken advantage of and we need to be refunded in full or a deduction in the sales price of $150. The total cost we should pay is $337.12 not $487.12. We believe the Mattress Firm employee was unethical by not disclosing she was selling us a pre-owned mattress...
Read moreWe went the first weekend of opening back up to purchase an adjustable base and mattress. We were told due to the pandemic (understanding) it would be delivered in the next 10 days. That day came and no delivery, then I was told the mattress was delayed and it would be delivered within that week Friday or Saturday. Again, nothing! Finally, my husband had to go in person and see what was going on as we were being promised our delivery. They delivered the base the next day Sunday and we thought since we have platinum delivery they would uninstall and install for us like stated in that service. The delivery men said they didn't remove anything so there goes my husband rushing to unscrew the previous bed frame. And finally today (another 10 days later) our mattress has been delivered and the men just left the heavy mattress on our living room floor because they weren't even suppose to bring it inside but since they saw me and thought she can't carry it they did me that favor and said I would need help to take it upstairs.
