Went to order food for two at 11:30 today. 8 staff members working, 1 staff member eating lunch, 2 customers in line (including myself).
Female staff #1 asked for order. I said "two orders of tacos: one veggie, one chicken." She gives me (2) tacos. I assume she only does only one order at a time. She asks about rice, I tell her brown. Female staff #2 comes up and they start talking and giggling in Spanish.
Female staff #2 takes over and finishes beans, salsas, and cold veggies. #2 asks if anything else and I say "yes, grilled veggies." She looks at me lost and confused and says "they just started, maybe take four minutes." I say "ok, I'll wait." Staff 2 asks " You want them on the side?" I say "no, I want them inside." Staff 2 looks bewildered.
Female Staff #3 (cashier) looks at me as I step back from counter to give other guests (2 more men) room to go by as I wait and says "you waiting on something?" I say "yes, grilled veggies." I proceed to pay for one order of tacos as I know the second order is never coming. I continue waiting.
Staff #2 comes back to tacos, wraps them in the aluminum foil and puts them in bag, without adding grilled veggies. Staff #3 hands me the bag. I look at her and she notes something from my facial expression and asks "are you missing something?" I reply "I'm about to find out." I check the tacos, no grilled veggies. I approach the counter with the foil open. Staff 3 looks at me and asks "are you missing something?" I reply "still missing grilled veggies." She says "ok, just a few minutes."
Male Staff #1 (possible manager) comes out of back. Asks "are you missing something?" While still holding open aluminum foil and tacos I say "just waiting on grilled veggies." Male 1 proceeds back to the back and starts talking and laughing with female staff #4.
Female staff #5 (cook #1) walks by, sees me, and mouths "just a few more minutes" as she rushes to the back. I continue to wait.
Female staff #6 cooks fajita meat. Female staff #7 goes on lunch break (burrito bowl), and joins Female staff #8 (been on lunch since my arrival).
Male staff #1 notes I'm still waiting. Comes from back from where he was talking, asks female staff #6 about fajita meat. Pulls a cup out from underneath counter and extends it towards me. I say "no thanks." He says. "You sure?" I say "yep." He walks away to back again.
Female staff #2 takes grilled veggies and puts them all over tacos with a big scoop and squeezes aluminum foil around tacos. Hands me aluminum foil. I open to take a look and see the hot mess that is inside. Frustrated I leave.
The employees here don't care about their work and that can be seen in how they put your food together. They enjoy goofing around and talking and laughing instead of doing things right and getting orders right. Maybe this is because the manager himself doesn't seem to care and prefers to talk to the female employees in the back.
Moral of the story: buy your food...
Read moreGoogle doesn't allow you to give negative stars but this location does not even deserve 1 star. From the moment I walked it was concerned because the line was very long (as usual) but I noticed that the trash was overflowing and the tables were just dirty with leftover food that had been there for some time. They were not prepping food quickly so there was a wait time because there wasn't any white rice, chicken, tomatoes, cheese, or vinaigrette dressing. When I finally made it to the line to order my food the young lady prepping each order was focused and trying to do her job but everyone else was playing. The young lady that was responsible for the protein just walked away to talk to the young lady at the cash register and didn't care there was a line out the door. When I finally made it to the veggies, the manager came out and gathered the team to take a picture. So now there was another delay in our food being prepared because the MANAGER wanted to take a few pictures. Once they were done they completed our food order. The young lady at the cash register was just all over the place. When it came time to complete my transaction she wasn't even focused on what she needed to do because she was too busy saying hi to random friends and co-workers and involved in a team huddle that had nothing to do with her. Before I left I asked to speak with the manager who was in the middle of this foolishness and tried to get an explanation of why she is allowing her team members to provide this type of service when the line is out the door. Customers should not have to wait while they take pictures and socialize. It's unprofessional and horrible customer service. This is the worse location that I have been too and they are...
Read moreWhen I walked in, I noticed that they did not have any of the aqua Fresca that I normally like. When it was my turn to order a girl with a nose ring helped me and the customer service was just not happening. I said I would like three crispy tacos with sofritas. She said “soft tacos?” And I said no thank you I would like the crispy tacos. She proceeded to exhale audibly and roll her eyes. So I wasn’t sure if I should start ordering what I want in the tacos and she didn’t prompt me so we just stood there for a moment. When I realized that she was waiting for me to start speaking, I selected my ingredients and they were out of chips. She put the tacos together for me and I have to say the portions are big but for tacos it’s hard to eat them when they’re stuffed over the top. But I guess there are worse things that could’ve happened so I’m at least grateful that the tacos were full. The person who helped me at the register was really nice and kind and tuned in to the transaction while everybody else milled around and talked. I got the feeling that nobody wanted to work and that customers were resented for coming in in the last hour. I would advise my staff if I were the manager that they can adjust their availability to not close if they’re not comfortable with customers coming in in the last hour. I’m pretty disappointed in the customer service and I’m decently OK with the food. I just wish that my experience was a little bit better so I could give a...
