Waffle House — Restaurant in Goldsboro

This location is perfectly, and strategically located on, the most "vital" road in the town of Goldsboro, N.C. If ANY service, or product, can't be found within 1sq mile of this location, It simply just doesn't exist in this region of N.C THE FOOD, especially the sauasage, and bacon. Consider the strength of that statement. This is a place, who's primary meat sold, is Pork. Consider, that it's a North Carolinian, saying it. Our knowledge, of pork quality, grade of cut, method of cooking, and evaluation of pork taste, is part of the school curriculum. WE KNOW, "GOOD FOOD" when we taste it. And this food is, Consistently Good food, in every town, in every state. WAFFLE HOUSE'S, might be the No.1, "easiest to find" place's in "Anytown", USA. The "assured existence" of the locations, is a pleasant surprise. THE FOOD, is always what you're looking for, and always as good as the last time. I find it amazing that I can eat, anything on the menu in North Carolina, and experience the exact same taste and, service behind it, as in Georgia. While it's not, the most, "well-balanced" place for "heath-Nuts", they won't go hungry here. Plenty of salads, and "alternative"/imitation choices on the menu as well,(turkey bacon, BLT'S, without the "B", etc). It is, however, an absolutely PERFECT fit, for anybody, who values, CONSISTENCY, Quality, and Service, that's almost, as consistently good as the food. Certainty, and consistency, are extremely rare, No matter the topic. Especially considering the current state of things. WAFFLE HOUSE, has, is, and likely will, continue to be, That place, that somehow comforts you at 3am, when...

First of all I am not one to put a business down and I'm not putting the business down itself. I also am not one to complain about alot of things but when it comes to what I witnessed tonight I will address. Me and my husband went in after a long day to eat and relax but instead we had to listen to the employees fussing at each other and slamming stuff around. You definitely could tell there was tension in the air. The cook yanked the meat refrigerator opened and slammed it as hard as she could. Then she proceeded to yell at another employee because she had to much to do before 9. As she is cooking she is slamming everything down she gets her hands on. I'm not sure of the young lady's name that took our order but she acted like she was scared of the other 2 employees. Our waitress (had long dark hair) was very nice when she waited on us. As we are finishing our food one of the other girls came up and asked did I want more coffee and I said no, she then says I'm going to take your plates and reaches over and grabs them. She doesn't ask us if we were done!!! We absolutely were not done, me and my husband both were eating our bacon. I feel like she was rushing us out. There was one other couple sitting directly behind us and witnessed everything I have said. I have managed 2 different businesses and I can tell you one thing, this is not how to do business. I understand everyone is entitled to a bad day but when you are working in public, you definitely shouldn't act this way in front...

As always, placed order online, arrived at the time that the online receipt said that the food would be ready, went inside, had to wait for someone else paying for their order and when I told them the name on my order, they gave the bag to me immediately. Highly recommend this location!

2 months prior, my review was Ordered online, arrived at waffle House minutes later, walked inside and food was ready. Asked one waitress if everything was in the bag including 3 or 4 plastic utensils, butter and syrup, she said everything was in the bag. There were NO utensils in the bag. Saw the first waitress I spoke too and asked her for utensils and she said I got you and she put 3 or 4 utensils in my bag.

My review one month prior, Ordered online, picked up food immediately upon arrival! This place is it! No wait at all! Highly recommend! Phone message says, order in store or online. Order was placed and received text message by/before 9am, which said,

Thank you for ordering at Waffle House #1454. Ready Time: 7/30/2023 9:11:00 AM Location: 502 N BERKELEY BLVD GOLDSBORO, NC 27534

We arrived at 9:05am and order was ready! Told them my name, they looked down on the table, picked up my order and handed it to me. That's service! So much better than the waffle house...
