First I want to say I love historical places etc. for the first time I actually took a ghost tour it was pretty fun. But I also have respect for the dead. And I decided to stay here although I heard there’s ghost here. Well I can tell you from what I have experienced myself and maybe due to the fact that I have a gift I sense smell and I have a strong ability to feel energies, sadness, anger and I can smell others maybe the dead maybe perfume they’ve used or just the way they smelled when they existed on earth etc yes I feel all those things from someone or something. Room numbers 6&7 are the strongest energies I felt an intense sense of fear and uneasy feeling. I could not stand feeling that in those rooms. I did see comments someone online that room 4 is the one that might be possessed but as to what I felt that room feels somewhat weak and saddened but not scary. I couldn’t sleep because no one was there the day I stayed the night I mean no one at all. But for some reason I felt intensely sleepy which was an odd feeling for me I stayed in room 1. I woke up around 2:42am I wanted to stay awake but just could not I had that instense of just closing my eyes,Later before 5am I heard running steps in my hall that woke me up. And no I’m not kidding. I also visited the jail that’s across that was my first visit there I felt a very odd intense feeling as like if I was going to pass out it was so strong felt heavy so cold like I couldn’t pick up my legs to move. This is what I felt my experience. Granbury sure has a...

Ok. This place is exactly the kind of place you would hope to find in an awesome town like Granbury. The historic hotel is boutique but not fussy, refined but not pretentious. This was the first place I’ve stayed since a very recent tour of 5-star hotels in Scotland, The Borders, and Normandy.

The Nutt House could hang with that crowd!

Bed was perfect, shower and bathroom comfortable and handy, and the room nice and cool, and dark or light according to your preference.

Christina’s downstairs? A fantastic meal. Again, could hang with what I was eating in France. The bar was top notch, too. Recommend the Ghost Old Fashioned—tequila instead of bourbon!

This is the kind of place I would design if I was going into the biz. I felt right at home, and welcomed, at every step of the process from reserving, to check in, to dining, and just hanging out on...

We had an incredible stay at the Nutt House Hotel! From start to finish, it was such a memorable and relaxing experience. Dining at Cristina’s was a true highlight—absolutely delicious. Just make sure to book your reservation well in advance!

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the thoughtful nods to history throughout the hotel, especially the framed guest list from over 50 years ago—such a cool touch.

Their team was absolutely amazing—so kind, responsive, and available anytime we needed them for local recommendations. Their communication was top-notch, and they truly made us feel welcomed and cared for.

If you’re looking to stay right on the Granbury Square and want a stay that’s both charming and peaceful, I highly recommend the Nutt House Hotel. We’ll...

Finished in1893 it's 7 rooms over a variety store on the corner of the square. Great location and friendly people. Our room had a flat screen, computer, coffee, separate shower and soaking tub with salts, hair dryer and king size bed. There is a nice common area with tables and sitting areas. It is old and drafty but comfy. Now the bad news. It needed a common household cleaning. Dusting, floors vacuumed and the tables in the common area had crumbs all over. They also could use a towel update. Several spots of texture repair were unpainted so I'm not sure if they were doing touch up which it could use. Overall I would stay here again but the little things listed would improve the experience dramatically.
