As I was in town for the weekend, it was my personal mission to try places that I don’t have in my home area. I came across Biscuitville in passing and the name and super cute exterior design made me stop and give it a try.

Upon pulling in I was excited to see the dual Drive-Thru as that always allows for a swifter process. Pulling up I was greeted by Alexis with a huge smile and warm “Welcome to Biscuitville!” I told her it was my first time and she became just as excited as I was. As I was a ways back from the main menu, Alexis provided me with a paper menu to review. Talk about good customer service! 5 Stars for Alexis!

Taking a moment to review the menu I decided on the Spicy Chicken Honey Biscuit Combo with Grits and Sweet Tea!!! Oh yes!!! I was ready for this experience..

Getting to the pickup window was super quick even though both lines were loaded with cars. The process they have in place is spot on and allows for a true in and out flow.

The Food: The Biscuit was buttery and GOOD. Crunchy around the edges and soft in the middle.

The Chicken was well seasoned. Crunchy on the outside while remaining moist and meaty on the inside. The spice level was about a 2.5 out of 5 which is perfect for a breakfast sandwich.

The Grits… they taste like grits.

The Sweet Tea was a great pairing to the honey biscuit as it kept the southern charm theme. LoL! As far as flavor, the sweet tea tastes like Southern Sophistication and Everyday Charm. Not too sweet but just sweet enough.

I am pleased with my experience at Biscuitville and will def come back anytime...

UPDATE: I was given a second opportunity to visit this location again after the manager contacted me, I have to say it was much better this time. I didn’t go back to the location immediately after being contacted to ensure that whatever changes that were made was a prolonged measure that the employees and management wanted to implement. This time the employees were very attentive I’ve and operated with organization and structure. I was served as soon as I entered and everyone was willing and ready to serve. The location as usual was cleanly and sanitary and the food was great as always. The changes made were definitely influential and it is good to see the dedication put forth by all parties involved. .Previous Review: The Food is great there is no disputing about that. However, the employees in the store seem confused and clueless. There is no real order or structure to how the place is ran in comparison to other fast food restaurants. The store however is in a great location with adequate parking and space for customers and this is displayed in the dinig area. Lots of space with an atmosphere full of chatter which means happy customers. I know Buiscuitville is usually on their game but the employees here need to gain some kind...

I have eaten here on several occasions since the opening and I have to say this is the first time my food was not very good! Start with service! It is always very good as they have two lines for the drive through and most times have people outside as well to take your order and pay if you are using a credit card or debit card and this allows them to take more orders ahead of time and expedites the line and in an orderly manner so as not to get the order mixed up they get your name and before handing you your food verify the name. I think the food was excellent when they first opened but has suffered as of late! It seems that they are more concerned about getting the food out fast and efficiently than they are about whether it is cooked properly and more importantly fresh! I think everyone is willing to wait a little longer for fresh food! This last time I got pancakes and I told the kids they tasted like shoe leather and certainly weren’t fresh! They agreed that the food has suffered some as of late and they need to do better! Not cheap...

Once again this location disappoints. They make you wait even when you are the only car in line. I called and complained and the lady I spoke with was rude and dismissive. I explained that usually on a Saturday/Sunday, the line would be out to Battleground Ave and how bad of a business decision it was to close the indoor dining area. She proceeded to argue with me and stated business was "great". I told her she was delusional. If they want to focus on drive thru only, that is their decision. But they better be damn good at drive thru only. Unfortunately, they are not. I grew up going to this biscuitville and I can assure you I know how good it use to be and how busy they use to be. This is a picture from Friday June 30th at 0830am. Does it look busy to y'all? Pictures don't lie. The rude customer service lady told me the drive thru service times are way down and she seemed really proud. I told her the times are down because fewer customers and less business. Not so sure she could comprehend.

This is the second location I went to after the first forgot to add my sausage biscuit to my order and then ignored me when i went back around to order it again. I came to this location, tried ordering a sausage biscuit, add bacon and cheese. There was confusion, and eventually I was told it would be over $7 which is wild anyways. I almost left but paid for it anyways because I wanted it. I drove home, opened it, and it is literally just bacon and a biscuit, smashed at that. The manager when I called kept saying she’s pretty sure she added cheese cause she made it. I was going to bring it back. But no. Got my refund over the phone and she ended the call. Just a bad experience with biscuitville all around this morning. Is it hard to get a plain sausage biscuit and add bacon and cheese at a decent price? Dang
