HGH is an absolutely stunning hotel! They have done a great job with the interior and exterior to give it a nostalgic and elegant feel. Upon checking in, the front desk staff were nothing short of amazing and extremely helpful. Solomon went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and provided the details for location of my room, continental breakfast and how to get in touch if there were any questions. I was privileged to attend a conference held at HGH and again, there was no shortage of support from the staff. The ballroom where our conference was housed exuded charm and elegance. The Ballroom provides modern conveniences such as plenty of electrical outlets and projector screen. I can see how the room could be converted for several uses with it's gleaming gold and brilliant crystal chandeliers, elegantly covered tables and beautifully gold and white intricate ceiling. This place is absolutely GORGEOUS! We were taken on a tour of this hotel with Nathan Corley, and the rooms were immaculate! The feel and vibes of this place were so inviting and warm, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an elegant and charming place to stay, nestled in the City of Griffin. The customer service was outstanding, and the layout of everything from the coffee bar, to the bar with nice wines, to a very nice exercise room! If you are looking for a “home away from home,” in this area, this is your spot! This place also offers a beautiful ballroom for events! Such a wonderful opportunity to enjoy this historic gem. We were in town to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary and were excited to see that this hotel was opened. When we entered it was everything we were hoping for. The entry and mezzanine area are what I’d expect from the early days. The owners have done a great job with the rooms. Very comfortable, very nice staff, and what a treat to get to hear Solomon play the piano every evening.
