Just Wings Cafe LLC — Restaurant in Griffin

Today was my second time trying this place. I only know of it because it came recommended by a co-worker.

The first time I ate there I was impressed with the prices a 6pc "lunch combo" (cause that's the time i ordered it) for only $5.99 including fries and a drink was a awesome deal. I didn't mind that they were small wings because it was just enough and you couldn't beat the price. I wasn't impressed with the customer service over the phone, but when i arrived in person, it wasn't as bad.

I called in an order today 7/30/24 hoping to get something affordable and decided to buy 2 combos to take my husband a quick bite. I was expecting to pay about $12/13 for both meals total.

The girl answering the phone was not professional

When i arrived, she wasn't professional in her communication, and she answered her phone in the middle of helping me and proceeded to talk to her mama.

My total came up to around $17 and when I asked why I was told the deal is $7.99, I referred back to the website to show its online for $5.99 and she responded saying oh naw he gone have to change the website but it's still $7.99.

Mind you, they have a 10pc advertised in the window that use to be $6.99 and they have placed a piece of white paper over the 6 and wrote $7 (this does not include the drink).

They also advertise accepting ebt in the window, but with ebt the two, now $7.99, combos came up to $23 (due to there being different prices in the system).

If there are going to raise the price, the food portions have to be better; bigger chicken and more fries.

Appearance is also key. Upgrading the signage and prices correctly instead of using paper would be a bit more appealing.

Called in an order 4 days prior to pickup. On Friday I got a called saying that I need to come pay for my order a day ahead because they had someone to order wings and they didn’t come to pick them up. The lady told me she was the manager and she would trust me to go ahead and take my order which was scheduled to be picked up on Saturday 200 wings. So the wings cost $47.99 for 100 so I ordered 100 mild and I ordered 100 l/p…. Ok after speaking with these ppl they agreed to take my order but once getting there at 12 to pick up the order they claimed it was canceled and they didn’t have an order for me. I assumed they didn’t take my order even after they called me to see if I can come pay for it in advance even when she told me she would go ahead and take it. They had to take & cook the order once we arrived ti pick it up and plus they had an attitude about the total which the website says it’s $47.99 but she told me it was $55 but then charge an additional charge cause she said I got two different flavors. I have never in my life heard of such thing I did 2 orders 2 100 pieces and they charged me how they wanted to. I then realized that’s probably why the other ppl who canceled their order is 500 wings didn’t get them cause they add a lot of additional charges which is unprofessional. I will never patronize them...

Very unprofessional I call instead of them saying hold on they hang up.I kept calling they didn't pick up they close before the time that's on Google say. They have did nasty stuff such as touching other items then going and deal with your food. There was a old employee that used to work for them that said how nasty they was and how code enforcement should go there.. I just simply feel like they should be more cleaner in more professional when you want to open up a business. I pay you money for my food just to get home and my food is not right who want to go through that?..
