I believe that I have found my new barbershop! I recently decided that I needed a new place to get my hair cut and came across this shop on Google. I liked the reviews that I had read about their barbers, customer service, and about the shop in general. I went in today for the first time, signed-in at their front desk to see the first available barber, and then sat down for a few minutes until it was my turn. Eric was the first barber to finish up, so I worked with him today. Eric was most excellent! He was friendly, professional, and took his time to do a first class job with my haircut today. I'm used to other barbers getting me through as fast as possible and ending up with either a great or an "okay" haircut - Eric did not do this, and for that I am very appreciative! I showed Eric a couple of pictures of what I wanted for my haircut, and he did an even better job than what I had expected! I got a VERY well-done fade and was surprised to have the back of my neck shaved! The shop has a great overall vibe, and my experience there today was first class. I'll be back for my next haircut before too long, and I'll try to work with Eric again if possible! It's 5/5...
Read moreJust wow. Bad with names but pretty sure it was Tammy the owner that gave me my cut and beard trim. Was in the area from Ohio helping fam move in from Cali and no idea what I wanted besides half the beard length. Tammy's(my apologies if incorrect) suggestions, cut, trim, straight blade finishing, and conversation was literally the best I've ever had. I will be looking for a new barber in my area and will let my hair and beard go next time I plan a visit just to let Tammy work her magic again. Great products too! Always looked for beard conditioner and they're the first place I found it.
Forgot to add, the ambience is great. Make sure to ask about their successful restore and reclamation of their building. And all for $33. Back home it's at least 50 and not nearly as satisfied.
EDIT 8/14/23: I'm back visiting fam here. Cannot wait to go back. Definitely gonna be one of the best parts of the tripđ.
Later that day: Just got done. Before & after this time. Tammy for the win...
Read moreAbsolutely wonderful employees. The barber justin at fading traditions honored a mistake he made the day before by giving me a free haircut. I had went in on a thursday and was waiting for around 45 minutes then I thought I had to run an errand so i crossed my name out on the sign out sheet. Two minutes later I came back when I realized I had time for a haircut and asked if I could be reinstated on the list and Justin told me he was sorry but he couldnât do it . I then in turn left to just get my haircut the next day because I did not want to sit any longer. When I came into the door Friday or today Justin greeted me and apologized for yesterday as he had made a mental mistake and it wouldâve been fine if i was reinstated. I was then given a great haircut for free. Awesome people and Awesome Atmosphere....
