My review is based on a take out order that was placed via their website. The website was very easy to navigate and checkout was seamless. Once I submitted payment, I immediately received a text message with my estimated pickup time. I arrived a few minutes before my estimated pickup time. Upon my arrival, I didn't see any signage for pickup orders so I ended up standing in the line behind people that were placing orders. Unfortunately, I ended up behind a woman who'd never been there before and had no clue what she wanted to order. I didn't get his name but the young man at the counter was PHENOMENAL. He went through the popular menu items and explained them in detail and he went through all of their frozen alcoholic drink flavors and even offered her samples of each one. I grew impatient and interrupted to ask if I was in the right place to pick up my order and he kindly directed me to the pickup counter near the bar. Once at the pickup counter, I was (kinda) greeted and I provided my name so my order could be found. I was handed my food and a credit card slip to sign without any words being uttered really. The pickup counter has a "sauce station" with an assortment of sauce and little containers for you to take them to go. Once I was home I was frustrated because my food didn't have any sauce but the menu picture online shows each platter with a side of sauce which is misleading... Was I supposed to ask for it or pay additional for it? There was nothing available on the counter that resembled the sauce in the picture. If I had to guess, the sauce in the picture was their "king sauce" which is probably similar to Lotus' crack sauce BUT..... I'll never know 🤷🏾♀️. I ordered the "king pack" with cajun fried rice which is 10 large shrimp on top of a giant portion of the fried rice. The rice was AMAZING, it has crawfish tails, sausage, shrimp, carrots, and peas and everything tasted so fresh. The shrimp were minimally seasoned but well cooked. I didn't like the fact that the tails were still on the shrimp and a few of mine were only partially deveined. I really feel like some crack sauce would have set it off but, it is what it is 🤷🏾♀️. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go back just for the rice alone. I would suggest that they include better pickup instructions on their confirmation text OR add some kind of signage in the restaurant to avoid people wasting their time. Another suggestion would be to specify on the website that the sauce in the picture is NOT included...

My recommendation is to bring noise-canceling headphones preferably industrial grade for everyone you bring to this restaurant. The music was way too loud—so loud that the staff had to scream at the top of their lungs just to communicate with each other at one point I taught a fight broke out because of the screaming. When the food came I kindly asked the person who brought me my food if they could lower the volume. He said he had to talk to the manager. Two seconds later, he came back and said the manager said no.
The food was another story altogether. I ordered crawfish and some fried boudin. The crawfish was not cleaned properly and was way overcooked. It looked like someone had just drenched it in oil and sprinkled some cayenne pepper on top to make it spicy. There was no real seasoning or flavor to be found.
The fried boudin balls—or pucks, really—were fried to perfection, but the flavor didn’t come within seven miles of actual boudin. I had no idea what I was eating.
The person who took my order and the staff who brought the food did have a good sense of customer service. The pricing was reasonable. But overall, I would not recommend this place due to the mediocre food and the deafening music.
Again, I have no idea why this place has such...
Read moreSwamp kingz is a fantastic Cajun restaurant that left my taste buds tingling with delight. The flavorful crawfish, succulent crabs, and perfectly seasoned corns and potatoes were the stars of the show.
The seasoning was spot-on, adding just the right amount of spice and flavor to each bite. In addition to the seafood, the chicken wings and sweet potato fries were equally impressive appetizers, offering a delightful contrast to the rich Cajun flavors.
The Cajun restaurant's menu extended to even more delightful offerings, including a mouthwatering shrimp fried rice that was bursting with flavor. The boiled shrimp, while simple, was expertly prepared and seasoned to perfection. To my surprise, they even served tater tots, which were a fun and tasty addition to the meal. And if you're in the mood for something refreshing to drink, their variety of soft drinks perfectly complemented the spicy and savory dishes, making it a well-rounded dining experience that caters to all tastes. This place truly has something for everyone, making it a must-visit spot for a diverse range of delicious Cajun and comfort food options.
The ambiance and service only added to the overall experience, making it a memorable and highly recommended dining destination for Cajun cuisine...
