Bama Inn — Hotel in Huntsville

We booked through booking.com only to show up and have them tell us that they don't take reservations. The man at the front asked if we needed single or double beds. We said we needed a queen and would be checking out Sunday morning. He checked us in and when we got to our room it was a full bed. We went back to the desk to tell him that. He argued that they only have Queen and kind beds but we asked for a single. We said a single queen bed. He said there wasn't anything he could do. We said we wanted out money back or a queen as promised. He chuckled, shook his head and called his manager who told him to give us the king size for the queen price. We collected the key but had to return to the desk a few moment later. The walls were streaked with a light brown liquid, rust on the microwave, fridge, mud on the floor, marker on the mirror, toilet dirty, ceiling tiles falling down, cracks in the walls, vents rusted, and under the mattress was food crumbs and bed bug poop.|| Obviously he didn't believe us. Had to see for himself. He chuckled, shook his head and went to the room to look, where we showed him the issues. Where he again chuckled.||He then said 'I gave you a room this is an inn what do you exspect?'||I said 'I exspect it to atleast be sanitary or somewhat clean not a public health issue.'|| At this point we wanted our money back to try to find a hotel elsewhere since this place was obviously not what it claimed nor what it's pictures showed. We were told multiple times he wouldn't give us a refund because he had a room for us then I pointed out his policy of the refund within 15 minutes and reminded him we had asked for a refund after the first room mess up. He then said his manager would have to in the morning cause he couldn't, but would give us a had written note that it would be done. We insistwd we needed somethingme then that cause to us that didnt aound legit at all be again He chuckled, shook his head. I asked him what was so funny that he kept chuckling. To which he replied 'do you no think im stressed about this?' ||I said 'I dont doubt you are but i asked why he kept laughing as it wasnt funny'||He the bold face lied to us saying he hadnt laughed||After us insisting we needed something more then that he eventually called security to which the officer got it on video saying we would get our money back in the morning, he also highly suggested we never book here that he would never let friends or family stay here.||It should be noted as well that the hour and a half that we dealt with this close to 15 different cars drove in and out of the establishment all not staying more then 20 minutes... pretty sure this establishment is being used for drugs or trafficking. ||Now I understand that it was cheap. I wasn't expecting 5 stars or even 2. But I was expecting clean and safe||And the pictures to be close...

This was the WORST place I have ever spent money. I recently visited there with my family(husband and son) for a graduation. I stayed one night and traveled from atlanta to Alabama. Checking in was awkward to say the least. Upon walking in,there was (I’m guessing) another guest just standing outside the window glaring at me. Ok fine whatever I just did a four hour trip and I might have had an irritable look on my face. I received my card key and when to my room. It smelled like a mixture of bleach and mildew. The walls were dirty and greasy looking. The ceiling was falling in the bathroom. Only one bed was made and the pillows were thrown on the other bed. After closer inspection I realized the had put used sheets on the bed! They literally tucked and “made” the bed with dirty if not the same sheets from the previous guest. I went back to the front desk and informed them of this. The only person that seemed to care was (I’m assuming) the maintenance personnel. He was so willing to help. I went back to the room after saying just please get me some clean sheets and I’ll change them myself. I found a roach(a small amount of weed) in my non smoking room! I went back to the front desk showed it to them and they just looked at it in disgust and threw it away. I happen to run into the person over housekeeping and told her the situation and she said “oh ok” and had apparently just thrown my sheets in the room. At this point I’m tired, frustrated and ready to leave. I notice a small sign at the front desk stating not to ask about refunds after 15 minuets of check in. They also left me ONE towel in my double bed room. No wash clothes and that towel was dirty as hell. Like they used it to clean the floor and hung it back up. I feel like they purposely took their time to get me “situated”. The linemen closet was right across from my room. I could open my door and stick my arm out and touch the door. I’m not the person to write bad reviews but that stay left such a horrible...

I have been staying here with my girlfriend for 2 years, see I come from out of town Chattanooga to work here In Huntsville as a bartender and Kim the manager has all ways taken care of us dispite the crazy crack heads they let stay there she all ways treated us with respect..until today I checked in at 9 this morning and was charged an unusually high amount for the room witch I didn't say anything about. Well I got to the room and checked for bed bugs but was exhausted and I guess I just trusted this place so I went to sleep and woke up after not sleeping well with BEDBUG bites all over me...I'm allergic so I'm covered in hives so I go down to the office not expecting any problems at all just to be ran around by there maintenance man JOE who admitted to us "he just got rid of the bedbugs in this room less than a week ago" so he rummaged threw the room and beds for a second arrogant that I would accuse him A MAN that he couldn't or didn't do his job well and he couldn't find a bed bug so!! Even though I have obvious bites and hives they Insisted that one of their staff had to find a bug for me to be taken seriously so my friend who was with me pulled back my pillow case and BAM!! They he was the bug so I thought GREAT now I can get my refund and be on my way...right? Oh how wrong I was I brought the bug down to the office and was told by some man I've never seen running the counter that KIM the woman who has always taken care of us because we arnt crazy degenerates that all she could do was change my room no refund they had the maides the maintenance guy and everyone else look at the big like I was lying.i called Huntsville police to make a police report they came to my room say my bites and said they were going to go and talk to them in the office I waited there for 45min decided I've had enough went down to my car no cops nothing....how do I file a lawsuit when I can even get a police report. This place is corrupt. The people the police. Do yourself a favor...
