Cheeers Sport Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Huntsville

Here this weekend to watch a football game with my alumni group. We have a pretty large party. Received our drinks pretty quickly. However, it took a while to order food. I’m not sure if she was just busy or something else going on. They seem to have a good variety of food with apps, salads, burgers, steaks, seafood, and wings.

I ordered the 12 boneless wings with jerk and lemon pepper. I also grabbed sweet potato fries on the side. I got a sour beer and was also offered a tasting. I was also charged for splitting seasoning, which I find a little ridiculous since it said on the menu that splitting would be allowed only if I picked the 12 piece option. The seasoning for the boneless wings was barely on there. I’d suggest the owners to indicate both the additional price and which of the seasonings are...

Great sports bar and grill. Ordered fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Not overly seasoned and were drizzled with a sauce. I don't recall what the sauce was but certainly didn't take away from the experience.

Staff was very friendly and helpful when we requested the TV monitor near us be changed to the Sunday Night NFL game between the Chiefs and the Chargers.

Entree was classic cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Let me tell you Cheeers did the sweet potato fries RIGHT!!! Well seasoned with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cheeseburger came with the garden of lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. We had Arnold Palmers to wash it all down served in aluminum cups.

A trip out for two under $45... I'm pretty sure I will be back again. A great place to watch the game...

🚨Stopped by the new spot on University called Cheers. We had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and Philly Cheesesteak. Actually everything was good. The Hot Chicken of course didn't taste as good as in Nashville and I didn't know it had bacon, but it is spicy and it was good. The Philly was tasty, they burned the bread a little but overall that Sandwich was slamming. The grilled chicken was good and they give you big portions. The atmosphere is great and our server Dacie was exceptional. She also works as the bartender sometime😜. They are going to start happy hour prices soon but haven't started yet. I think it would be a great place to watch the game or a big fight. Overall I would give it 4⭐️ out of 5....
