So google does not allow you to write a good and bad review under the same name. I have another review 1 month ago under ShoeNguyen where the service and atmosphere was 5 totally different from today. To be honest it’s all about the proper employee who’s working at the time. The meet , greet , door opening experience I had the time I was here was 180 backwards this time. Both was a late checking after 10pm. But the only difference was the front desk personnel. I’m sorry if I’m spelling the name incorrectly but ( Monica & Molensi ) just an overall bad attitude. The situation of the late checkout and the entrance though the poolside could have been handle much more professionally. One person was on the phone ( acceptable ) the other just gave a hand wave to move to the front. I had 1 large suite case roller , duffle bag , and a backpack. The hand motion behind the front desk was to move to the front side. Ok no problem. Then things got escalated when once she check me in and handed my room keys. Then I ask for a late checkout and she agreed . I ask if the room keys would work after 12. She said yes. Well I stay about 225 plus nights a year. I knew she did not program the keys for late checkout so I ask if I needed to come back after 12 noon if it stop working. She said no it’s all set?? How would she know to have it program to work for a late checkout when she already gave me the keys before I ask for the late checkout. So when I came down to ask for toothpaste , I heard Monica tell her oh look he’s back just to piss us off? I was like WHAT ? I guess she didn’t realize I heard. Then she tells me to give her the room keys so she can double check to make sure it’s set for late checkout and work after 12 noon tomorrow. When I ask her why do you need to double check when earlier you told me it’s done? Her answer was so I can show you ?? REALLY? She knew that she did not program it the first time as the situation was already out of hand. Her voice was in a non friendly stand your ground tone. She also said I’ve never seen you here at this hotel before when I told her this is the 4th time I’ve been here in a few weeks. So is she trying to tell me I’m a lier and also I told her she can look up my name and she will see it on her records. It was just non stop confrontation from her. Great customer service does not escalate the situation. She was full throttle wanting to disagree with everything I said. Then she says my voice was getting loud ? Really ? You accuse me of lying when I told you I’ve been here 4-5 times recently. You could have looked it up? But no you had to say IVE NEVER SEEN YOU HERE BEFORE MULTIPLE TIMES. . They lied and said key is program for late checkout when you headed me the keys even before I ask for the late checkout. Please see my 5 start review I wrote under ShoeNguyen. I did not want to remove this review as the crew that night deserve the outstanding review for there professionalism and customer service. So I had to use my wife’s name to write this review. It does not allow 2 reviews under the same user. WOW .. Sorry Element on this crew you have working for you tonight (...

Review of Los Colinas Element Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Los Colinas Element Hotel for six months, and I cannot express enough how remarkable the staff made my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by an exceptional team that went above and beyond in every aspect.

First and foremost, Zully was a standout during my stay. Her warm demeanor and attentiveness made every interaction enjoyable. Whether it was room service or a simple question, Zully was always there with a smile, making me feel right at home.

Rosi also played a significant role in enhancing my experience. Her efficiency in room service was impressive. Every time I needed, Rosi ensured that my room arrived promptly and were always clean. Her friendly attitude made each moment feel special.

Cristina was another gem of the team. She took the time to remember the little details, which made the room service feel personalized. Every evening, I looked forward to the cleanings with Cristina while enjoying my favorite drink.

Mari's hospitality was exceptional as well. She was always willing to assist and provided a level of service that made my stay even more comfortable. Mari’s attention to detail in room service truly stood out; I appreciated her effort in making each delivery perfect.

Carlos, both the bartender and maintenance staff, was instrumental in making my stay memorable. He was always ready to help with a friendly smile. Carlos consistently provided excellent service at the bar, crafting delightful cocktails that I looked forward to after a long day.

Rosa brought a unique flair to the hospitality team. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she made every encounter enjoyable. Whether it was a quick chat during room service or a fun interaction at the bar, Rosa’s positive energy was always uplifting.

Tiffany’s service was impeccable. She was always attentive and ensured that my needs were met, whether I was ordering room service or enjoying a drink at the bar. Tiffany’s commitment to excellent service did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced my overall experience.

Shelby was another integral part of my stay. His friendly approach and willingness to help made a significant impact. Whether it was coordinating room service or providing recommendations, Shelby’s dedication to hospitality was evident.

In summary, my six-month stay at the Los Colinas Element Hotel was unforgettable, thanks to the incredible staff. Zully, Rosi, Cristina, Mari, Carlos, Rosa, Tiffany, and Shelby each contributed to a level of service that exceeded my expectations. Their teamwork and commitment to guest satisfaction made my time there truly special. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a welcoming and...

I stay on Mariott properties on average once per month for work travel accross the country and this is my first time with an unpleasant experience. Pros: -Check-in was smooth and accommodating. -Clean rooms except couch in suite was a bit dirty. -front desk attendant from Sunday morning 8/17 was friendly -egg station was nice treat and cooks were efficient Cons: -The evening after I checked out, I was charged $50 extra on my card. When I called to ask about it, Emma asked if I had pets. I said no, I don't have pets. She said she would call back with more information. She called back and informed that the charge was an error, it was refunded but they meant to charge $150 for damaged sheets and a marker mark, which they did!!!! We had an accidental 100% squeezed orange juice spill on a single white sheet and a mark on a sheet (possibly same one) from a washable marker (washable markers are the only ones I travel with). Both are washable without bleach, and with bleach, come out. $150 is excessive, especially after making an error on a $50 charge.

I wish I would have taken a picture of the state we left it in. We checked out today, Saturday at 330AM after our 7-day stay. We left typical unmade beds; placed all dirty dishes inside dishwasher; room trash all consolidated inside a Waikea water bottle cardboard box at the entrance for easy pick up; towels all consolidated in the bathroom for easy pick up; extra bed sheets all consolidated for easy pick up. Left one near empty jug of milk in fridge and the regular bathroom trash. Regular cleaning from stains and picking up trash, is not damage. After 7 days without requesting room service during the week, the room was left in a normal use usage

I will call back and speak to a manager called Tiffany tomorrow and update the review accordingly.

-coffee machine was inoperable "for cleaning", per the sign, the entire week.

-eggs and toast are only hot food options

-cold air blows hard in your face from ceiling vent when laying in bed

-beds are very firm

-there was a Police Officer on Wed or Thursday taking a police report from a guest...

10/10 Hands down best customer experience I’ve ever had at a hotel! And that says a lot because I have stayed at other nice hotels like Embassy Suites, Aloft, The Omni, as well as five star resorts in countries like Mexico and Thailand. This place has felt like home which I didn’t even know could be possible! From the amazing floor plan (like a studio apartment), to the amazing breakfast, and awesome happy hour, it’s been truly amazing. But what set everything off was like I said the amazing, one of a kind staff. *RAY was one of the first employees to greet me and from that day forward remembered my name and welcomed me back each time I returned and was so friendly and answered all my questions which I had so many- was truly the one who made my stay so memorable. *ROSA who helped hotel members at the bar was attentive and amazing as well. I could tell it was not just me but with other guests as well- they had a great time thanks to their evenings at the bar with her excellent service. *CARLOS at the bar was so awesome as well! He helped man the bar and was always so friendly and kind. Always made my drinks nice and fast. One of the best and most friendly bartenders for sure! *JOSE and XINA serving in the breakfast area were so helpful and brought my food promptly after it was made. Jose even helped me carry my plates to my room because I couldn’t manage myself. Without asking! Meant a lot. Xina helped keep the kitchen area clean- clearing away dishes immediately! Such a rockstar! *JIMMY was my favorite cook and always had a smile on his face and was so fast at preparing tastiest omelettes. *Other staff members I didn’t get names of were spectacular as well. Seriously can’t say enough good things about this team. The manager should be so proud and reward the staff and everyone, from the awesome cooks, maintenance, cleaning staff, including the manager should get a raise ASAP. Element Dallas Las Colinas should be the blueprint that all hotels follow as it’s set the bar high. I will dearly miss this place- truly amazing for people traveling for work especially.

review from platinum marriott member here. despite the new building compared to the hotel around, the service isn't par to the view. during checked-in, Natasha who doesn't even have an eye contact with me wasn't welcome at all. people at breakfast especially who serve and all the front office worker who get their breakfast at almost closing time has staring problem instead greet or smile. this hotel is pretty much for the business people who's their company paid for the stay, southwest for example and the company around Irving area. breakfast is like the embassy suites hotel, I don't know what so hype about it where everyone is so crazy about the breakfast. many other hotels served better breakfast. marriott and westin las colinas served much better with better customer service. the shower is pressure isn't great and don't have rain shower, it took along time for me to shower because the shower head sucks. the customer service for all the front desk and also Tiffany needs to be improved. I don't recommend if you care about the service.

So I rate hotels on 3 things: water pressure, room quietness and comfort. So here is my take: The room is very modern and well appointed with comfortable desk, desk chair, easy chair, bed and "kitchenette". All very comfortable and easy to use. The sink has a filtered water faucet for drinking water. The shower had excellent pressure & temperature with a good layout and space. The room quietness was a small issue. I could hear the next room everytime they opened their shades (chain roller) and other adult things they were engaged in (only a small period of time). Once I turned on the TV that went away. The breakfast is phenomenal with made to order omelets and a yogurt bar. The Happy Hour was done very well too. It is a good location with access to get in any direction and multiple food options that are nearby.
