(Finishing up stay. Don't want to forget to review) I also have a video review on YouTube. Link is at the bottom! Excellent value and location. I mixed up and booked a non refundable rate at this location (was looking at other Sonesta right down the road) so was a bit worried since I didn't have the breakfast perk I was looking for and the reviews are just slightly lower. ( I think people get confused between the two hotels and knock this one out of confusion). I was pleasantly surprised! The check in was very quick (you do wait right until 4pm to check in or pay 28 bucks even half an hour early), and the room was super spacious and clean. There were no odd smells like others have described. There was not a spot of dust on anything in the room. It was stocked with dishes, soap for them, and all the basic kitchen amenities. The bed was comfortable and super clean. No stains! The bathroom came stocked with shampoo and bodywash which I was not expecting. The bathroom including the tub was sparkling clean and the water was hot and pressure was good. The location is very convenient to get around. DFW is super spread out but this hotel, for me, was centrally located. There's even public transport across the street. Never had issues finding parking and my rental car was secure. They do take $100 dollars as an incidental when you check in, but say it'll be release when you check out. There is FREE laundry, just bring your own soap. Several grocery stores a 10 minute drive away. There's also a gym, but never used it. I'm very picky when it comes to places I stay at, and I'll definitely be back my next time in the area. https://youtu.be/OKaXfBoVvt8?si=FEyVFgzaMLrQqQ0v

Not a bad hotel but needs improvements. For the price, it nice bed with a small kitchenette. Friendly staff. Close to public transit, DART train. Would consider rebooking with them in the future for a shorter stay. The appliances are older and some need to be replaced. Our refrigerator was in good condition and worked well. The toaster did not toast, even on high and going multiple times. The stove top needs to be replaced as the front burner just keeps getting hotter regardless of the setting and the back burner would fluctuate temperature. The dishwasher was definitely older but work well. There was also a coffee maker which we didn't use and there were other appliances available upon request. The carpets could use a good deep cleaning but are good shape. The bed was comfortable. There was also a reclining chair that was very comfortable. The water got really hot out of tap. Great for washing dishes (I'm a pumping mom and have to hand wash pump parts, so this was really nice.) but need to be careful in the shower/tub because it gets scalding hot. The cable was OK. Missing a lot of channels that we normal watch and have access to at other hotels. They do not have any kind of breakfast available at all. They do have complimentary coffee available. We did accidentally leave a multi function charging cord in the room after checkout. When I called to inquire if they had a lost and found, they said they did but automatically threw away charging cords. This was really disappointing because it wasn't a standard charging cord but a 5in1 splitter that could charge our electric razor, phones and other small electronics at once.

Let me start by saying I definitely should have listened to the reviews. When we checked in, they almost didn’t give us the room because I’m 20 and not 21. My husband then switched the room to his name, which they only let him do because the site we booked on didn’t stop me from booking even tho I’m not 21. Then we get in that room and at night I felt something bite me, wake up to look and I had smacked a bed bug. My husband goes to change the room and they were going to make him wait 3 hours till we told them we would not be doing that since it was 5 am. At this point we should have just got a refund but we were dumb and didn’t. The next room we get is right next to our old one and smells weird. Only reason we stayed was because we didn’t have bugs in this one and really wanted sleep. Everything okay till check out day. There are no signs at all that state what the time was, and the only place that said it was a thing in our room. Turns out that was incorrect and they proceeded to hurry us out of our room. Yeah this place ruined my vacation.
