I'm usually not that critical of hotels because I don't expect them to be perfect, but this place is not good. The rooms are fair sized and its nice having the mini fridge in the room, but the room itself was not good. The bedding was stained, the bathroom was dirty, and there were things in the mini fridge that were left from a past guest. Seeing how things were left from past guests makes me think they dont actually clean anything here, just make it look pretty by making the bed and putting clean towels in the bathroom. Also, the light in my room was broken and flashing like a strobe light, which is really bad for someone like me who has epilepsy. The person staying with me had to twist the bulb to turn it off so I could be in there. Just sitting in the room made me feel like I needed to wash my hands or shower every five minutes. Luckily we only needed to be here for one night, but I definitely will never book here again and I would recommend that you dont either.

Do not go to this place it’s a horrible representation of the company with the greeting over the phone you think you are dealing with professionals it’s a set up and misrepresentation of who they have actually employed and they lie about the names of the supervisor like a child your dealing with who lies because they are scared to be truthful about they mistakes. So don’t go because you will be disappointed my devil side was tempted to go back and forth with them because of my need of a hotel but I refuse to show up there and now I need to find out how to get a needed refund because of my personal situation that has me needing a hotel from the getgo you have been warned spend your money with people who are showing customer service skills like they want you to be there and come back. In the name of Jesus don’t spend your money or anyone else money at this place

All I can say is wow!!! I'm usually not the type to complain but I had to inquire at the front desk if the room pictured on the website was in fact the same room we checked into. I definitely understand you get what you pay for but really?! Upon arrival it gives the appearance that you might have chosen a nice cozy spot. And then the odor from opening the room door hits you. We requested another room and it was the same thing. We got deodorizer & it at least masked the smell. The ONLY reason we stayed was because of how it was booked it was non refundable. Then to get a grab & go bagel or muffin is not considered a free breakfast. I'm just saying... We were getting away from home overnight to have a date night, day trip however this was NOT the experience we anticipated. Book at your own risk!

Top 12 reasons not to book at Hometown inn and suites in Crestview Florida||(In No particular order)||||1. The first thing I did when I entered the motel room was to adjust the air conditioner. The air conditioner was coated, . Absolutely coated in dust. We’re talking. You can write your name in it! 2-3 inches of dust.||2. That night I went to close the blinds, they were equally coated in 2-3 inches of dust. ||3. The bathroom floor, was sticky, so I went to wipe it up and saw all the grime and ickeyness all around and behind the toilet ||4. Around and under both sides of the sink were inches of dirt, grime, and black globs of grossness.||5. I told myself never to inadvertently let slip an item of clothing hanging in the closet because the floor was disgustingly coated in dirt and sand.||6. When I sat on the sofa in the room, I felt dirt and food crumbs on the back of my legs, and I hadn’t eaten anything yet.||7. There’s no coffee maker in the room. I mean, what kind of hotel/motel doesn’t have a coffee maker in the room?||8. Three hangers. Three plastic hangers in the closet.||9. The attitude of the front desk person when I told him that I used the washcloths to dust the above dirt and grime, he told me that I should’ve called down and they would’ve brought a rag up for me to use to clean my room.||10. I was here for four days with no sign of the housekeeper ever entering my room.||11. These two items go together. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were flat as a piece of paper. Was I supposed to stack all five flat pillows on top of one another?||12. Bonus! These two items go together. The itty-bitty tube of shampoo was such inferior quality that I had to use nearly half the bottle for one shampoo. And the soap was just a mere sliver.||13. Bonus! When I complained about the room and the comment the desk person had said to me, the woman (she claimed her name was Jennifer ) manning the desk in the morning. When I checked out, blamed it on a former employee that had just mysteriously been fired. She informed me that he was supposed to have cleaned the room a week and a half ago. A week and a half?! You would think that someone would have turned on the EC in the fridge the night before I showed up, but apparently, nothing was touched before my stay? The AC was set on 75 and you could tell that the refrigerator was barely cold. The woman also explained the reason why no one had come in to clean my room. I was there from Friday through Tuesday. How’s cleaning only cleans on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She had an answer for everything. I did not feel welcomed! Here’s an afterthought, what’s the deal with the chair? Is it a medieval...

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE

It was a horrible experience it is a quick way to scam you out of your money. My dog is cleaner then this hotel. (no joke ) Problems that happened when I was there: It smells like Pot and cigarettes through out the whole hotel. The rooms are filthy. There was mold on the ceilings. Food in conners of the room (my dog was sniffing around eating it) crumbs in the cracks of the microwave and the fridge. I switched rooms just to get a semi decent room but the bathroom was still gross. I ended up cleaning the bath room my self with a sponge and bleach just to feel somewhat sanitary when using it. ( ill post picture of how Nasty it was the lighting sucked) Not kid friendly to me. It is a shower head only. And kids deserve way better place then that. Upon checking in I made it clear that my dog was not a service dog but an emotional support dog there was confusion the employee thought that they where the same thing. When it was brought up again the manger tried to charge me a 100 dollar claiming that the pet was unclaimed and that it was wrongly identified as service dog ( service dogs stay free). They continued to change my room keys locking us out of our rooms ( my dog was inside) and it wasn't even brought to my attention until after the manger was gone at 10 o clock at night and the other employee was nice enough to explain everything and let us back in. I checked out the next day and was still charged 50 dollars because their employee messed up. If you check in with a dog or check in period for that matter. Record the conversation you have with any front desk employee there is a mother and son duo that will lie and have each others back. And the cameras in the hotel have video but supposedly no audio. We tried to run the cameras back for my dog incident and couldn't because it had no sound. 6.Im only giving this place one star because I can't do a half a star. only reason I give it a half of star is because the cleaning ladies that were on my floor were amazing when I came back and asked them to clean certain thing after switching from one disgusting room to the next she did it with no problem or issues.

Please I don't care if you are pooper picker upper, escort, or straight poor do not stay here your money has the right to spent somewhere better. My 4 night stay changed in to a 2 night stay real fast. Check in at 10:30pm Tuse. checked out Thursday at 7 am.

Please report this if you have the same issues they need to be investigated call Florida State Health Department and they will give you right number to call. ( lost the number I called or I...

This was the absolute worst hotel i have ever stayed it. I booked it for the awesome price per night but I regret that now. First of all, there are prostitutes, crack heads and drug dealers everywhere. I felt incredibly unsafe and im from a rough spot in Miami! As soon as you walk into the first set of doors you can already see how dirty and dingy it is. The check in was quick and easy,  the guy at the counter was really nice. Our room was on the second floor and, holy crap, did it reek! We were on the NO SMOKING side and it smelled like smoke and marijuana. It was so disgustingly suffocating. Every single time i regretted booking that room. The room was horrible. It was really small and smelled like dirty water. The smell was so thick, i don't know any other way to say it. I almost couldn't stand it. You can feel the humidity in the room. The room looked filthy. Lord knows what had gone on in that place. The walls were dirty, the sheets had hair on them, the shower... my GOD, THE SHOWER! I, literally, tied plastic bags around my feet to get in there. The tub was black and disgusting. I was scared to get fungus. I don't know what else was in the,  black little particles everywhere. I couldn't even walk on the carpet from how disgusting that room was. I always had something on my feet. We tried to stay in the room as little as possible. Walking out into that hall way always felt like a game of Russian roulette. I didn't know what was going to happen. Someone was always coming out of nowhere asking for cigarettes or alcohol. Everyone was very intimidating, they even offered to sell drugs to my friend. It was horrible. At one point he heard a guy say they were looking for someone in a threatening tone, like if something was about to go down. The stairs...Jesus Christ, the stairs. Probably the worst part of the place. It reminded me of an old high school stairwell. The smell of smoke was incredibly suffocating, it was hot and so dirty. There were spots of, who knows what, all over the floor and it was disgusting. I dreaded walking into the stairwell. You also didn't know who you were going to bump into. The doors are not locked, eventho they have the key lock. None of them work, anyone and everyone can walk right into the side doors. Its not safe at all. The building itself looks nice but its nothing but a nightmare inside. I wish i could have stayed somewhere else. We didn't even get room service for fear of someone trying to steal from our room. I don't recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have children. Who knows when there'll be a...
