Clean room Dirty-looking pool and pool deck Murky pool water Algae on pool deck concrete Hair and other objects floating in pool Good front desk staff, but this hotel's management seems to have them by the throat. They take your name when you ask for pool towels and say that you have to return them first if you want more. No pillows available for the sofa bed. And front desk staff can't locate any when I ask. Sofa bed cover is dirty with crumbs and hair. Text message at 11:00 p.m. saying that all guests essentially need to keep their kids quiet starting at 10:00 p.m., which is quiet time for most hotels, or risk being removed from the property. This is a generic text message sent to all guests, I'm assuming, because our kids were quiet and in bed before 10:00 p.m. It's not the quiet time that I have a problem with, but it's the fact that they send guests text messages with threats. What is this? Motel 6? I have stayed at a million hotels as a frequent traveler, and never has this happened. Very controlling. Definitely not customer first. I don't remember any of this being the case years ago when we first stayed here not long after the place opened. It's a shame too, because the hotel overall was in pretty good shape. And the front desk staff were attentive and professional, and especially so on the morning of February 26th. It's just the way the hotel is managed that we have a problem with. Is this typical for Comfort Suites? Or is this specific to local management or ownership? We will probably think twice before staying in another comfort suites because of this. PS: Don't put your eating utensils face up. That's a basic rule of hospitality management. For example, forks go with the pointy sides down. Other people's hands touch lots of the utensils in the utensil container when they are grabbing something. I don't want their germs on the eating end of my fork or spoon. Interestingly, the butter knives or physician correctly with the food contact side facing down into the container.

I recently stayed here for a night, and it was a decent stay. It wasn't the best hotel experience but far from the worst. I'll start from the beginning. As soon as I walked in, I could tell things seemed a bit disheveled at the front area. The employees seemed overwhelmed, and it caused a bit of a lengthy wait during the check-in process. I had no issues with the hotel employees. They were friendly with me. And my check in process went smooth, but I talked to a few guests who had errors with their reservations. I really liked the rooms. They were spacious. The pool area was neat and unique with their much talked about slide. Not too many hotel pools have slides, and their slide was really cool. The slide was definitely a highlight for my kids. After a bit in the pool area, though, it became kind of nauseating because their was a foul odor in the pool area. Besides the foul odor, the pool area was definitely worth it, especially if you have kids. Also, I really really like the free breakfast they offered. The sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes, and waffles were delicious. Something else worth mentioning. So with this being a really kid friendly hotel, well, this isn't a hotel that has a quiet time, so needless to say, it was kind of noisy all night. I was able to sleep, but of course, I heard the actual noises. I would stay here again because my kids loved it, and it was pretty affordable. I kind of know what to expect with staying here now. Not bad overall, though.

Stayed the night to watch our CSU grad the next day instead of driving up from the Springs. I have to say, I was impressed and the experience was fantastic. Alleviated a lot of would-be stress from our stressful weekend. Even though the place was booked to capacity, parking was not an issue, it was clean, the staff was super-helpful and the location was excellent. Hunter helped us get checked in, got us situated with our room, refreshments, gave us a few pointers on where to eat and even assisted us with our late check out request. Once we parked and took our luggage up to the room, we found it was a decent temperature, nicely appointed and tidy. We set out to get dinner and never had to touch our car again because so much was within walking distance. We strolled over to Parry's Pizza and then to Scheels afterwards. There was a pool, waterslide, breakfast, all kinds of things that a typical travelling family may need. If you need a place to hangout for an event in Fort Collins, Loveland, etc (they're right up the road) I have to recommend this. It's not as hectic (or as pricey) as the FoCo options and everything we needed was right there. Oh, easy access to the interstate too. They even had photo backgrounds for grads, which was a nice touch. Thanks for the relaxing stay away from home. (Sorry, I totally forgot to take photos!)

My daughter reserved a private room and a birthday party room with the swimming pool. Everybody had a wonderful time and all went well until the end of the birthday room rental. A gentleman in our party went to get a broom from the front desk. Francis, the front desk attendant was dismissive and rude to our guest. He came back and upon entering party room he stated of her attitude to us and she then preceded to turn around and yell to him that she heard that.... she became a big part of the problem and escalated the whole situation. The gentleman who requested the broom was told he had to leave. Francis was insisting his girlfriend leave right that minute and he wet little bit was putting his shoes on which she had a problem with. Once all this died down Francis came came to check the room and was finding an issue with the trash bag in the canister missing. We used it and emptied it. We hadn't even had a chance to do a final walk through in the pool area and she then said she was charging a cleaning fee in the pool area. There wasn't anything wrong with the pool area. Francis then proceeded to carry this agitation on once again because, why? I'm not really sure excruciating it was clear she was using her position because she was confronted on her actions when as an employee she positioned herself of escalating the whole thing from the start. I'm throughly disappointed as this ruined my granddaughters birthday. To top it off my daughter wasn't staying after being put through all that AND Francis determines she doesn't get her room refunded and is going to be charged a cleaning fee when I can assure you the room was spotless and the wristbands that a few of the kids dropped in pool area were picked up. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING TO CLEAN OR PICKUP. THE TRASH WAS EVEN TAKEN OUT. Francis, you might give some thought to how you treat people because when you're rude out of the gate and then proceed to inject yourself into others conversation about you which a person has a right to comment on to their party on your treatment. You were rude and then aggressive entering yourself in the manner you did to start it all. Then you kept it up. I thought you were suppose to help the customer not be rude and have a problem when you over hear one commenting on your attitude. To have a heavy hand in this situation yourself and then charging a cleaning fee and nor refunding the room fee is only you not being right and you should be ashamed of yourself.

To top it off I went abs asked Francis for the GM nave and number I was denied that and then only given the owners last name and I wasn't asked to have his contact...

The only good thing about this hotel is that kids can enjoy a dirty pool and pretty cool waterslide. Below are a few of the reasons I will never ever be back.

The hot tub doesn't work - speaking with seasoned travelers to the area, it is always broken. This is ridiculous, because it's the only way to get away from the kids and have a moment alone with other adults.

There is no ventilation in the pool area - none. Since there wasn't a working hot tub, I had to sit there and listen to the screams in a melting hot room with no air circulation whatsoever. After about 2 hours my 4 kids and I were all coughing so hard and couldn't breathe that we had to go back to the room. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I don't know what we were inhaling, but I'm coughing twice as hard today. Very concerning and dangerous.

There are no towels. None. You have to ask for them and the front desk gives you attitude.

There are no pillows for the pull out "sleeper" couch - not just in the room, apparently they don't exist. You're on your own.

The pull out sleeper was disgusting. Ratty, torn us and stained. Luckily 10 year old children were sleeping on it and didn't care. I would never have laid on it. Absolutely atrocious.

Management sent a threatening text to me around 10pm about quiet time and that if we didn't obey the rules, we could be kicked out...what? Nah...I paid way too much money to get threatened. Not that it helped, because people were raging all night to either side of us.

The TV is in the middle of the room. Oddly placed between the bed and the couch. Just a really dumb place to put it. Nobody really got a decent vew.

The breakfast was awful. I never really expect much for a hotel breakfast, but this was weak. Very messy and clearly nobody was assigned to clean it up. It didn't help that there was a high school basketball team and their entire extended families, children, cousins, friends, acquaintances, neighbors and random people from the street. It was busier than Disneyland.

Overall, I would rate this place zero stars, if I could. It was by far the worst hotel stay of my entire life and I'm a seasoned traveler. My job is quite literally traveling all over the the world.

The location is great, but not that great. Don't stay here, if you don't have to. There is another hotel a few miles away with a waterslide that's 100 times...
