To start, my wife and I spent months and months looking for the "right" couch and loveseat for our home. We went to EVERY store that sold furniture in the Front Range. We had very specific needs and wants and weren't willing to waiver. It was truly exhausting (for me ;-))! We finally decided to visit Ethan Allen (thinking they were too expensive) in Johnstown. Luckily, we were introduced to Stanna Thourot. She was / is awesome! My wife and Stanna hit it off right away and she started showing her all kinds of colors and materials. It was a bit overwhelming at first to decide, we ended up leaving with a really good feeling about the store, mainly because Stanna took the time to explain the options thoroughly.
Soon after, my wife went back to visit Stanna again, they collaborated for a short time and we ended up ordering a couch, chair and a half plus a custom ottoman. It was a bit more than we initially wanted to spend, but learning about the overall quality of their furniture we knew it was the right thing to do.
Stanna kept us informed the whole time while we waited during these crazy times. I truly believe that if it wasn't for Stanna, we may have not purchased from there. She is a true asset to their overall success!!!

Read moreI ordered two items from Ethan Allen back in February--one that needed to be ordered and one off the floor. Not hearing from them for more than a month, I called to find out where my floor item was. They said they did not have the right phone number for me and so could not call to arrange delivery. My phone number hadn't changed, so I don't know what that was about. I finally got the piece and it is fine. My problem is that the ordered item delivery date is unknown. First, it was going to be delivered within 2 weeks of ordering. That is why I took the chance. Now it looks like it is still more than a month out, which means the wait is more than 3 months. They NEVER call to give me an update, it is always up to me and one call usually turns into two or three calls since they have to check and then have someone else call me back or they "forget" and I need to call back yet again. These are not inexpensive items and everything needs to be paid in full--up front. What if they go out of business? Read moreI orderd beautiful dining chairs from Ethan Allen, letting the sale person know that I was in no hurry. She let told me that it may be a while as everything was moving slower because of Covid. This was fine with me. About a month later I called to see if there was an expected date on delivery of the chairs. The store would research and get back to me. I received an email and a phone call from Carrie Brown. She discovered that the person who sold me the chairs was no longer with Ethan Allen. She had, in fact, left the day after my puchase and left no folllow up instructions concerning her sales with pending deliveries. Carrrie Brown at Ethan Allen, Johnstown Parkway stepped in immediately, reordered the chairs and kept me informed on progress. She contacted me every other week with updates and was ready to answer any questions that I had. When my chairs arrived in the main Colordo warehouse, she again contacted me to confirm a delivery date. After delivery, Carrie followed through with a sweet email.
