I drive past at least 15 other establishments claiming to serve the best fast food to get to Culvers! It is soooo worth the extra effort. Their employees are the nicest on the planet. Yes, even nicer than that chicken place that is closed on Sundays! They take time to explain their menu to those who are not familiar with their products. Trust me, when I say my friend and I asked the poor girl who was unlucky enough to be working the counter the evening my friend and I descended on the place questions ranging from "what's the difference between blah blah blah and blah blah blah? " to "How big are your shakes?" "What are your hours?" "Where is the bathroom?" "Whats that he's carrying?" "What are those containers in that display case?" " Ewwww! Yummy! How much?" "Sauce? Sure we want sauce! What kind do you have?" "How about one of each?" We were the ultimate pain in the derriere! If I would have been her I would have thought we were some kind of test customers that corporate sent to test them. The young lady went above and beyond when it came to customer service. I was starting to annoy myself, but she smiled and answered every question very thoroughly. Bonus....the food was absolutely fabulous! Hot, fresh, and tasted wonderful! Double Bonus...I have had the same great experience every single time I have been back! It was not a fluke! I will continue to drive past those other places that have your bag of food hanging out the drive thru window before you pull away from the speaker forever. I figure I'm saving money since I don't throw away three quarters of my order because it was disgusting, dry, cold, just plain BAD!! Sorry...I tend to ramble when I get caught up in the moment!! Trust me...Good food..Good Service....I now return control of your...
Read moreupdate-- We went through the drive through yesterday. It cost us $40 for 3 people. Among other things, we ordered a single mushroom burger. When we got home we found out they didn't put any mushrooms on it. So you pay extra for mushrooms and you don't get any. Not cool. So they lost a star. (3 stars now.) Also The milkshakes are super good, the buns aren't dry, the fry size is small.*
The best is the atmosphere. Not loud, so you can hear yourself think while you eat your food and converse with people. We went to eat at Culver's on a Monday June evening, still busy at 8 pm approximately.
My husband and I both ordered a sourdough melt and onion rings and drink and our daughter ordered a concrete with her meal. I had the cheddar switched for Swiss.
When ordering they asked if we wanted a single or double burger. We said single, and found out when eating it that it's really really thin. Tasty yet thin. Must've been a thin cow. My daughter didn't get her concrete delivered with the meal, but went up with the receipt and there was no problem except they kept the receipt. The onion rings were pretty good.
There was a sweepstakes number on our cups. But I didn't win anything. It might be lame, especially since they only allow you to check one...
Read moreI'm a big fan of Culver's food, in fact, I travel from Las Vegas to Colorado to visit family and I make it a point to come to Culver's approximately every 3-4 days on my visit. But the staff here is seems to lack experience and customer care. On last visit when my bill was over $60 for 4 people . I examined my receipt. I was charged $21 for 2 pieces of grilled chicken. No bun, no toppings just two pieces of chicken. When I questioned the staff I was told "that's about right and we don't have control over the pricing that the register shows." After almost 15 minutes of a third employee looking at my receipt I decided to leave as my burgers were getting cold and my ice cream melting. On other occasions items were missing. It just seems to me that restaurants have used covid to cut staff, raise prices and not care about customer service. I'm not looking for any compensation only better service in the future. Is this going to be the norm...
