This is the place our company uses for employees so we get the Company Rate. The rooms are dated but comfy. The Bathroom was pretty worn from the door to the chipped shower/tub coating. But a property this old, ware and tear is expected. There was also no trash can in the room which meant the one in the bathroom was the only one. My problem, the reason for the low rating, lies with the ripoff price for having a pet. My pet weighs 14lbs, at most, and is trained better than most children. Shes not distructive in anyway and will only do her business outside. Yet we had to pay $50 a night for her! Thats complete B.S. Thats practically the same price WE paid for OUR stay! HOW IS THAT EVEN FAIR PRICING?! Live and Learn, I guess....Wont be making the mistake of staying here again. Maybe until they're REALLY pet friendly and that FRIENDLINESS is reflected in the pricing. We've stayed at newer & nicer places that didnt charge half that price or didnt have any fee at all.

My stay was 9/5-9/6/2022 Yikes. Blood on my comforter, black mold all over the bathroom and towels, and old, set-in dirt and oil on the shower tiles. This place is very old and doesn't get cleaned well and it shows. I've stayed in two rooms here. Both of them smelled VERY musty and moldy. They're remodeling some rooms right now but really, why even sell these moldy rooms to people in the meantime? Money at all costs. And even more funny, despite how disgusting the room was, I still had to pay an EXTRA $58 for my pet (a HAIRLESS small dog). I won't ever stay here again. The hotels around here are a dime a dozen and you can get so much better for so MUCH cheaper. If you still want to try it, ask to see your room before you pay!

Maybe it will be better after the remodel but my room was nasty. Air conditioning barely works. Always hot in the room. I was supposed to be there for 2 weeks but only slept there 2 nights and left my bags in the car so my stuff wouldn’t stink. The odor in my room was awful. They gave me some spray but it just made it smell like chemicals. Pool isn’t operational. It’s a construction site. My shower was nasty. Felt like I needed to wear water shoes to take a shower. I checked out and left. Just awful. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at probably ever. Went down the highway to a way nicer place for the same money.

The staff members were the only positive thing about the whole process (the people working the front desk and the ones organizing the hotel block). The hotel did not look the same as when I checked it out in October of 2024. The hallways were awful; you either had a hallway with air conditioning working but smelled like weed or a hallway with no air conditioning that smelled damp. The rooms were dirty and smelly as well. The guests we had from out of state did their best to stay out of the hotel as long as possible, only using it to sleep because they paid for it and it was a little too late to change things around. The suite I stayed in for my wedding night and my husband stayed in the night before was not clean and was falling apart. The suite was not vacuumed as it was covered in crushed cereal before he even got into it. When my husband entered the room, the paintings had fallen off the walls and were either on the floor or on the couch. He took pictures to show the front desk staff, and they did not fix it or offer a solution to it. He had to set them back up and hope they didn't fall again when taking getting-ready photos with his groomsmen the next morning. The night of the wedding, when driving back and ready to sit down and relax, we could not get into the front door. The covered front door area where my husband was going to help me get out was blocked by at least 20 other guests standing in front of the door, under the awning, or in the driveway area where cars can wait. It was pouring rain, midnight, and I had to go into the hotel using the back entrance in my wedding dress because the other guests took up the entire area by the front door. Then, when leaving the next morning to back up our car, the other guests again took up the entire lobby to the point that my husband had to tap them on the shoulder so we could leave the building. No one asked them to move from blocking the door or not shout profanities at 10 am; it was a horrible way to start the day. When we decided to come back in the side entrance again to grab the rest of our things, we noticed the maintenance closet was wide open with no one inside or outside it. Now that was fine because we understand people are busy, but what got me was the fact that the doors to the outside were also propped open, meaning you didn't need a key card to get into the hotel, all you had to do was walk into the maintenance room and you were in not needing to check in or talk to the front desk. I took pictures as we drove off to document, as we were disappointed with the entire experience once we checked in. I was so upset that that was how and where I spent the night after...

First and foremost, this place is gross! The rooms were not updated by any stretch of the imagination. The only piece of furniture clean enough to sit on was the bed itself. The chair and luggage bench were discolored and heavily stained. Wall paper was stained, screw holes present from previous artwork TV was crooked and barely stable in the stand and the wall in the shower and tub both appeared to be painted. After driving 9ish hours in negative temps, black ice and snow the only thing my husband and I wanted was a clean bed, a beer and a hot meal. We selected this place because it offered a bar/restaurant in the facility and since we are pulling a car trailer parking at restaurants is a hassle. Forget about any kind of service if this place is hosting an event. We were greeted by Jennifer with “did you pull in with the trailer? You need to move because we’re having a party and we need the space.” Never mind we still had luggage to bring in, let alone the fact that we were also paying guests. After discovering our less than standard accomodations for the night, we decided to still try the restaurant, huge surprise..service was non existent! After waiting for a table, my husband approached the bar tender to see if it was open seating and was given the reply of “I guess, we’re having a party and are busy.” They probably should have closed the entire facility because of this “party” since regular old guests didn’t matter. The only plus to this stay was the room had advertisements for a place called Pizza For U. Since the bar tender couldn’t do his job and bring us a beer and a burger, we ordered from this place. The food was great, they delivered right to the room and our food was still hot considering outside temps of 7 below. Couldn’t pay me to stay here again, I’d try the motel 6 first if I had...

Checked in today around 3:30pm. When it was my turn, the desk attendant started the check in process and asked for my personal information. Two white guys came in and stood behind me. Because my stay here is work related, she needed my company badge to move along the process. I told her that it’s in my bag that’s sitting on the chair, and I’ll grab it right quick.

The chair was a couple feet away. As i turned to go grab the badge, I heard her greet the two white guys behind me and begin their check-in process. It took me literally 5 seconds to get the badge, but I had to stand there behind them and wait my turn, when she had already started on me. I eventually went and sat down on the chair and waited 10 minutes for her to check them in.

It’s frustrating. I’m 42 and I’ve never in my life pulled the racism card, but this is exactly what it felt like… just a total disregard. I’ve had a long day, i came in a shuttle van with 9 other people, who i let check in before me. Now this. I didn’t say anything. I was upset but i kept my cool. She eventually resumed the process again and asked what room did i want, and i told her that it didn’t matter. She ultimately gave me a room on the 4th floor, in the back while knowing that the elevator was out of service, and seeing my heavy bags.

This was a terrible experience. I’ve been here many times and this is the only time that I’ve have felt like this.

Btw at the end of my check in, she did thank me for my patience, but my patience was due to her disregard.

I will be sure to report this to my company. I also paid a percentage out of pocket. Imagine paying $70 after receiving that type of service. If i didn’t have the company discount, i...
