I absolutely can't stand this place. The only reason I give it two stars instead of one is that the people are typically friendly and the remodeled restaurant actually looks great. That's where it ends. I have had my order made incorrectly so many times I can't count. I stopped using the drive through completely 1, because of the huge wait times and 2, I like to open my order up and tell them what they got wrong as soon as I get it. There have been times when I've gotten home opened up a taco and literally have a teaspoon of beef inside in one section of it with nothing but lettuce and a speck of cheese everywhere else. I've gotten nachos with virtually no cheese on them. On a personal note before I started my weight-loss journey I used to frequent Taco Bell often. Now that I am in the process and have over 70 pounds lost I like to treat myself to eating out once every couple of weeks or so. The times when I do decide to get something I'd like it to be made correctly. That being said the Cheesy Gordita Crunch has been my go to meal as of late. Considering I've waited over two and a half months to finally go and get something only to come home and discover there is no sauce on it at all...... that Pepper jack zesty ranch or whatever they call it is what makes the taco good.
There have just been too many instances where my order has been made incorrectly I've had wait times that have exceeded 20 minutes. And one you order you can't leave the line because of the way it's designed. On average expect the wait time here to be about 11-15 minutes.... That's after you've ordered and paid. Some people may find that hard to believe but go there and see for yourself. So I no longer frequent this particular Taco Bell at all. Instead I will drive over to the east side where it may be a little more..... not necessarily run down but not remodeled. They always have great service they've never gotten my order wrong and they're fast. I will not be going back to the Jefferson Street Taco Bell ever again. (Yes I know it's technically Larkin but no one calls it that)
Update: Now 1 Star!!! Lasted a good few years without this place. Got hungry one night and ended up here, not my choice mind you... My wife. And wouldn't you know it... Wait times are longer than ever and the people now have horrible customer service skills. I thought nearly 2 years would make a difference.......

Larkin Ave. (60436) in Joliet, Il. in the United States of America, I have had many opportunities to take leisurely walks--also for good exercise--in the area. Walking northernly on Larkin Ave., I was blest to find a Taco Bell at 125 S. Larkin Ave. Consistently, I find meals at all Taco Bell restaurants to be just wonderful: such a variety of delicious items on the menu plus delightfully personable Teams of employees who provide heartfelt hospitality.
This particular Taco Bell is exceptional. Although the Mexican Pizza is a favorite and tastes "out of this world" at any Taco Bell, for some reason because of the exemplary kindness, courtesy, graciousness, and appropriate senses of humor that the Team reveals here, my dining experience exceeds expectations! Of noteworthy citation is a truly charismatic Team Player by the name of Ms. Rosemary, a woman with enlivening wit and a glorious laugh. She and I share stories together whenever there are no other customers waiting in line.
I told her that as a result of her solicitousness, I would offer a prayer of gratitude. She accepted without hesitation. May Ms. Rosemary and all her other co-workers, the entire Team at the Taco Bell at 125 S. Larkin Ave. in Joliet, Il. in the United States of America, be forever blest with stamina; may each and everyone be prospered in her/his ways throughout the Year 2017 and beyond!

Update : 4/20/19 go to this location hoping for a better experience than the above experience but my wife orders our food nothing is as we order it and 4 burritos are missing so call and talk to the manager Bridgette powers at least that’s the name I was giving by the woman on the phone then I’m told we can only get the food we ordered if we show a receipt for it so ok I get it np wife goes back and they still get the order wrong and don’t fix what she brings back and is told we’re getting busy so here’s what we can do take what you got and take what we give you so here wife comes home and I call back and I’m told that the manager (Bridgette) is busy the store is busy busy and they can’t deal or handle the food they screwed up again and call back tomorrow or the next day and they would be able to help possibly total disregard and respect for there customers
My friend went to the same location on 4/19/19 and there was food missing in her order and she was told they were to busy and it wasn’t the stores fault that she can’t check what the employee gives her to make sure that it’s right...
