They should not even get 1 star nothing about my call was professional.
I called at 11pm to place an order a lady named Lisa answered I gave her my address phone number and my order and was told it would be out in about 45 mine to an hour. At 11:55pm I called and spoke with Lisa again and she confirmed and verified my order was out. It is not 12:18am and Lisa called back to tell me I was not getting my order and there was nothing she could do. She also stated that she was the manager on duty with NO DRIVERS LICENSE becauE I asked why she herself could not deliver it if she was a manager. I asked how she could confirm with me when I called my order was out the door and she laughed and stated it was a miscommunication. This is ridiculous I am a first time customer with Pizza for you and all she can tell me is sorry her driver left apparently before 12 when I spoke with her at 11:55. I would like a call back or an email or I will be coming in to speak with someone. This is unacceptable I work night and this was supposed to be my dinner and all she can do is laugh. You should probably get yourself a responsible “manager” who can do more then laugh in a new customers face maybe a manager who can manager her employees properly because she apparently had NO idea her driver left. This is unacceptable and I will never order from here again. And I promise if I do not get a phone call or email back I will make sure every review I write about this place has NO stars and nothing good to say. I simply choose this pizza place because of the reviews of...
Read moreI wish I could give this place 0 stars!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PIZZA PLACE! Speed past this place! We spent nearly $100 at Pizza For You on Larkin Ave in Joliet for my son’s trunk party—and I deeply regret it. Every pizza had a burnt bottom. As you can see in the picture, the pizza is clearly overcooked.
What’s worse is this isn’t even our first bad experience. We’ve ordered from them before—the pizza was subpar, and Brian was rude. But we decided to give them another chance, hoping for better this time. Big mistake.
When I called to address the issue, Brian was once again rude and dismissive. He told me I waited 4 hours to call, even though I explained the pizza was for a special event and I didn’t want to interrupt it. His only offer? A $10 credit after I spent nearly $100.
My guests could clearly see the pizza was burnt—some only ate the top, and others didn’t eat it at all. What a complete waste of money. Most of the pizza ended up being thrown out. The bottom was so hard and burnt we had to use a knife just to cut it apart.
Honestly, I could’ve gotten better pizza and better service from Little Caesars. I should’ve known by the always-empty parking lot....
Read moreBefore heading out, my sibling and I wanted some delicious food before our drive back to Iowa City.
We came across this place near our hotel.
They did offer a buffet that looked delicious, but we were in the mood for a deep dish. They did NOT disappoint!
We ordered a large with 2 toppings for a reasonable price. It's good enough with just cheese, but I ordered it with Pepperoni and ground beef.
We also ordered loaded fries, but they used waffle fries with the cheese, bacon bits, and dunk it in Ranch.
My minor concern was that the waffle fries were just a bit extra crunchy. Usually dont mind, but with everything else that was on it, it probably would have been even better if they were more softer to chew on.
The garlic bread was amazing. Had a nice sweet taste to each crunch, and the marinara sauce was so delicious.
The deep dish, or Stuffed Pizza, was just like if you ordered it at a Chicago restaurant without making the drive. You'll need at least 4 people to finish this. But we were more than happy to enjoy this in the evening.
