What a great experience ! My friends and i planned a trip to Key West to celebrate my 50th Birthday. I started watching videos on places to eat while there and i came across one that mentioned how delicious the food was there. One of my friends and I decided to go (since the other ones were to tired).
Weâve never had Cachapas before so we decided to go for it. The lady at the counter (Sorry that forgot the name) and I struck a conversation of her story and she was so Nice, Bubbly, Happy and Sweet that I inmediately felt connected to her. We ordered 2 Beef Cachapas, 1 Cheese Empanada and a Grape soda. This wonderful lady when it was time to pay handed me my Cachapa and with a great smile on her face told me âthe Cachapa is on me, Happy Birthday! â
I wish her many blessings in her business and life and many more years of health and if she is reading this, Thank You for the super delicious birthday gift it was truly out of this world !

Read moreBIG food, good food, delicious. If you are looking at all, then go here. It's a food truck not far from the main tourist drag. We got food and then drove over to the water to eat with a view. Make sure you have lots of napkins and utensils! We had the sweet plantains with cheese and crema. OMG, over the top deliciousness. Other plantains will have trouble living up to these. We also had a burger and chicken chacapa. Oh, it was good, the sauces are delicious, too. We made two full meals from all our food. The young lady working was so nice, talkative and informative. A sit down restaurant has nothing on this. Fresh made and did I mention ample size servings? I'd love to say we'll be back but it has to wait for our next trip to Key West. In the meantime, I leave the place for...
Read moreLove the food, so delicious. Ordered a pulled pork chacapas, it's like a corn tamale masa pancake with a slab of cheese and a mountain of pulled pork. This is a togo place, no place to sit or anything. Your food will stay hot, don't worry. It is dense, and messy. We'll be back tomorrow. It's a distance from Duval. Get a golf cart. Biking is fine, but for the unexperienced cycling through Florida. There is limited visibility through some streets due to bushes/trees. Other cyclists running stop signs. Scooters and cars crowding the narrow streets. Also, but not least. IT IS DAMN HOT. I'm layered in SPF 50 and still cooked. It is worth the pilgrimage. FOODIES COME AND...
