If you are in Key West, you must make a stop at The Bali Bar (located in the back of The Key West Hotel) My husband and I were walking past and heard some awesome Reggae music coming from behind the hotel so we stopped to check it out. The band (Reggae Lou and the Kind Budz) had such an great vibe and sounded fantastic! They are the reason we ended up stopping in for a drink. We ended up staying all night because the vibes were perfect- the bar had a great atmosphere! It was inviting, clean, the drinks were delicious and the staff was phenomenal (especially Matt). I have a been a bartender for about 20 years, and watching how Matt worked put a smile on my face. He interacted so well with all the guests, kept the bar clean, helped the bartender make drinks, he was great! I spoke with him for a bit and found out he was the manager- I told him that I wish I worked with management like him. He is such friendly guy with incredible work ethic. He made our time at the bar a time we will never forget! He made THE BEST Key Lime Pie shots too- His shots are a must try! If we are ever in Key West again, I would love to stay at their hotel. We were able to check out one of their rooms and let me tell you- its definitely a luxury room! The location, live music, drinks, and incredible hospitality make this place a winner.

Wow, what a great place to stay! The place just switched over to new owners and it was for the best! The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and super clean. Daily cleaning service was on it and super friendly. They now have the Bali Bar and every single bartender went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Location is right in Duval, we walked and biked everywhere but some how always ended up coming back early to make sure to drink at the bar before ending the night. Vibes were always great! Shout out to bartender Tai for everything. The pool and grounds are very well taken care of! All staff had the guest best interest in mind. They even accommodated our booking previous to the room renovations. Shout out to Justus and the rest of the family, proud of the vision you all created. Please check this place out. We will be back soon & can't give this place enough of a great review.

The owners and their impeccable staff are the key to success for this gem on Duval. We met Rick and his son Justice upon arrival. They have created an oasis at their newly renovated boutique hotel. The grounds are immaculate, the tiki bar and pool area are beautiful. Matt and Tai at the bar assure that you feel welcomed like a member of the family. The rooms are decorated with a sophisticated southern vibe that is understated and just right. Small touches like the unique woven ceilings and holiday welcome bags make things feel extra special. After vacationing in Key West for over a decade and staying everywhere from air B&B’’s to Sunset Key, we can truly say this was one of our most relaxing and enjoyable stays in KW to date! Thank you guys for a fun NYE. All our best in 2025.

Turned out to not be relaxing as I was hoping. Location to Duval was perfect but that also comes with down falls. Our 2nd floor room in the historic house was needing a facelift. The room next to us was being updated I think but the noise was CRAZY!!! At times I thought they were going to come through the walls and ceiling. They actually were ripping out walls and the ceiling. The weather was extremely hot so when back at the room to relax, it was extremely unrelaxing. Hopefully they update the whole building. A few other things that disappointed me: the pool was like bath water and was not refreshing on a hot day. I can’t image how warm the water will be in the summer. The beds, omg I have never had a squeakier bed in my entire life. I was afraid the shower door was going to break since it stuck so bad and wouldn’t move on the track. No outlet in bathroom so had to dry hair in kitchen. We didn’t have a car, but I guess no more parking. We had housekeeping one day but we only got new towels and garbage taken out. Nothing else I saw. The noise from the bar across the street and the rooster in the morning lol. So much morning noise out on the street. Wish they had an ice machine and Keurig in the room. Not sure how the window A/C units will hold up to the summer heat. ||We did speak with the front desk person and she was nice and felt bad about the noise. We did receive one night refund. I wish they would have told us about the renovations before we arrived so we could have booked another place. Or if the back building had available rooms back there to move us into one of those rooms.||Hopefully after renovations are completed the place is better than our stay. We stayed at other place earlier in the week with a wedding party and it was great! It actually was directly behind the 2nd building and I never...

Great location! Right on Duval!! You might think it would be loud or hard to sleep at night but no! Nice and cozy, hidden away in plain sight. Fantastic location. They have limited parking for an additional fee, and although the gate and driveway is very narrow, our sedan which was a chevy rental fit just fine( we had to turn the mirrors inward). Any car larger than that will have a problem so plan carefully! The room was cleaned daily for us, which was lovely, staff was kind and communicative. It is an older building and our specific room had somewhat of a specific strong smell to it that sort of felt like a cleaning agent? But i feel like it was the “older home” smell. Tolerable and not anything to be concerned about as the place was super clean- when i brought it up to staff they said they would look into it especially since in this older home we were not able to open windows (only downside). But ac was working perfectly, there was more than enough towels and toiletries! And there’s a pool! We didnt get to use it since our stay was short and we were out and about but it looked great. Beds are a bit older but still comfortable enough with extra pillows in the closet if need be. I really don’t have any negative to say- the price was unbeatable!! And again- so close to everything in Old Town! If you care about being walking distance and to most things and on Duval don’t look further! Also i recommend you book with them directly vs....
