...With no boat....This place has a very racist. The manager's singles out black and spanish guest and try's to put a damper on their night. I've even see him starring at his black and spanish employee's just looking for something wrong. I currently am staying in Key West as I always do for business so I have befriended employee's and generally frequent bars in the city. With that said, I know what im talking about. This place is so messed up. The female manager pretty much waits to have sex with customers at the end of the night and steals i.d's so she can go party with her underage friends. At 37yr old I think that's a bit not only illegal but childish. Guy manager is upset that she only dates blacks and targets his black employee's.(There's usually only 2 blacks working at this establishment at one time.) He's went as far as to accuse and laugh at his black employee stating he sells drugs, but my concern is that its not the black guy who's selling all the drugs in Fat Tuesday. I've walked thru the alley leading to Fat Tuesday's entrance and there's several white employee's who indulge in drug activities by the trash cans.(They should smell some of the employee's clothes, because they would know where the drugs are coming from more.) This Key West racism has gone too far and isn't fair and I think I should start getting the media involved. If you ever wonder why your bartender seems a bit out of it, it's because the majority are on drugs. So, the bartenders and bouncer's are all on coke and molly and the white guys are selling allot of it. These employee's take various drugs coke, ecstasy, molly, weed, prescription pills and crack. So, why blame the black guy? Not to mention the white bouncer beats a customer up, sells drugs, didn't show up for work and still has a job. Another white employee goes to jail and the manager bails him out himself, gives him a day off and he still has a job. Yet, if any black or spanish employee goes to jail they are immediately fired, without being found guilty of any crime. There is so many people selling drugs in this establishment and the managers of this fat Tuesday allow underage customer's in, when it's benefiting them or they need more sales. I know the manager Billy let's underage girl's in and flirts with them. In all.. I sit back and see all of this corruption and its unsettling to see just how much of a nasty and racist place Key West has turned into....
Read moreIf you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to mainline gasoline in slushy form, welcome to Fat Tuesday Key West. The 190 Octane (153 proof grain alcohol + orange punch) is basically jet fuel with a citrus twist — I’m 90% sure my rental scooter ran better after I spilled some on it.
The flavors here range from “fun beach vacation” (Piña Colada) to “pray for my liver” (Cat 5 Hurricane) to “this is how Florida Man is born” (Mardi Gras Mash with bourbon + triple sec). You can even get a 128oz gallon to go — because nothing says “responsible tourist” like walking down Duval Street with a jug of neon alcohol that could double as antifreeze.
I got the Souvenir Squeeze Bottle thinking it was cute. Turns out, it’s basically a lifetime commitment — you’ll be refilling it until your doctor writes you a letter.
Also, big respect to the Skinny Watermelon Daiquiri: same 153-proof grain alcohol, just “half the calories.” Because obviously the calories were the dangerous part.
By the time I mixed 190 Octane Blue Raspberry with Mango Tango and topped it with Spicy Margarita, I’m pretty sure I accidentally discovered the cure for jet lag — or possibly astral projected into Jimmy Buffett’s backyard.
Pro tip: Hydrate, wear sunglasses, and maybe text your mom before your third refill, because after that it’s anybody’s guess what your night (or your Instagram stories) will look like.
Would I come back? Yes. Should you? Only if your insurance is paid up.

Mine said $8.75 on the receipt but when my friend got her receipt to sign it was $11.25(the card was already ran). She told the bartender that it was a mistake because it didn’t read $8.75. The bartender looked dumb founded and said “it is what it is don’t be cheap”. We were shocked as she had just told us the total was $8.75. She then proceeded to tell us she put a higher price liquor in my friends refill even though there was absolutely no talk of this and we all ordered the same drink. Not to mention we were there earlier to buy our drinks and the male bartender(who is extremely friendly) had all charged us the same. The bartender then threatened to get security because there’s nothing she can do. We just went and got security ourselves because the bartender was seriously on something and had no idea what to even say because she got caught. Her manager comes over and rudely tells us “just go you get a free drink”. Clearly, the bartender does this to people who are intoxicated and gets awAy with it. Just be careful when you get there and make sure you get a receipt BEFORE you hand your card over. A couple dollars doesn’t make a difference but that’s not how you should be...
