Location was fine: a park across the street for kids to burn off some energy after a road trip (though, no play structure), restaurants and stores were down the road (not far, but not walking distance). We had an issue with our first room, and despite the busy time with the crowds for the solar eclipse, they moved us just two rooms down right away, which was nice. The room had a nice open closet/cove big enough for the playpen for the baby, but there were very few outlets for charging devices. Our biggest problem was the free breakfast: it's in the same room as the lobby, so it's very small and there was only one table with 2 chairs. We noticed this when we first checked in, so we knew we would be eating in our room. We didn't have much of a variety for breakfast because the crowd had come through and cleaned the place out before they had the chance to restock...there were no trays for me when I went and I had to struggle to carry multiple cups with no lids and flimsy plates back to the room for the family. By the time my husband went back to grab stuff for him, he said it was restocked and there were trays and lids, making it much easier for him to bring more back. If you're traveling with kids, not the best place unless you have a 2nd adult to help with things...
Read moreMy room was broken into and my belongings were stolen. The front desk people did not seem to care and didn't offer me a different room or to help me find a different location to stay during an especially busy weekend where most other options were booked. Additionally, when I called back the following day to hear an update on my room I was completely shut down. The man at the front desk told me he "didn't know what to tell" me because they didn't have footage of a person walking around with my belongings and that the cleaning service didn't attend to my room that day so that meant no one broke in. I responded by letting him know my question wasn't if someone had broken into my room, that was undeniable (a bag missing, my door ajar when I arrived back at my room, and drawers thrown open). My question was if they had identified who did it. The police officer that assisted during all of this even asked us why were staying at this particular hotel because they have had significant issues with the Travelodge in the past especially with previous supposed deactivated key cards still working to open doors they shouldn't. I could not give this place a lower review if I tried. If you care about your safety or even the cleanliness of where you sleep at night do...
Read moreLooked into getting a hotel for the night and it was good in terms of service however the rooms were a bit disappointing. The bathtub clogged up so bad it felt like I was getting ready to take a bath and some dirt or something started coming up from the drain too all while showering. I had no tp. Personally it was already late into the night and I genuinely just wanted to shower and go to bed. The bed was yes comfortable and towels were clean. However due to the layout of the room I was a bit uncomfortable only because I could see the door but that’s just on a personal reference. I docked points just because of the tub and no tp. Location wasn’t bad but I didn’t have a sense of security as I would with most places since I did have to park far off than near my room. Front desk service though was really sweet and nice. I did come in late into the night too. I don’t think honestly I would book here again personally due to the first impression of the rooms. (The couch foot rest was also stained but I wasn’t sitting on it or using it and was not questioning...
