I DINE HERE FREQUENTLY AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES BEYOND THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE YOU COMFORTABLE. NO OTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANT COMES CLOSE TO GIRASOL.

10-3-20-another awesome evening at Girasols, food was spot on, service was beyond excellent. We will be back again soon. Try the zarapas best green sauce in Oregon.

1-4-21-once again top notch meals, our to-go meals were filled to the max. The food was amazing. The server who brought our meal out showed such apperication for our business. Get out support our local restaurants. Oh check out the cheesecake dessert best in the basin for sure.

10-22-21-Another excellent evening, we may have not got the seat we reserved, but we were seated quickly, and our very attentive waiter/bus boy made quick work of getting our drink orders in and to the table within minutes of being seated. The food was excellent, drinks came spot on and made to order. Even being extermley busy the staff made us feel welcome and made sure we taken care of.

11-4-24- Not sure what has happened to the service at this establishment but the last three times my family and I have eaten there the service seems way off from the usual. To sit for 20 minutes for drinks and chips when there are only 4 booths filled was complete b.s. . Then to wait another 15-20 minutes to have our orders taken was again b.s. When we asked for a refill on the chips, Salsa and beans the waiter only returned with Chips. Not once were we asked if we wanted our drinks refilled which cost you an easy $30, we had to ask which is very unprofessional of a restaurant. The food was great as usual, but this is the third time in a row. To whoever is training the wait staff it's time to hire someone new. I will return but I'm not sure when.

11-23-24- Well not sure what has happened to your business, but after 4 interactions with the same results I will no longer be patronizing your establishment. The staff have become useless and are driving the business into the ground. The food has gone so far down hill not sure what to say. This was my go to spot. 2hr wait for food that came cold, in two hours server's only stopped twice. We got one serving of chips and salsa and when we asked for more it never came. We only got our initial drinks and after that it took an hr see wait staff, worst of all, there were only 11 people in total in the whole establishment. If this continues to happen you will be gone...

We had a party of 4 and were only served a small basket of chips. We asked for a second basket, it was also small. We were still waiting for our order to be taken by the time we asked for a third and were told they charge after 2 baskets of chips. Our orders were taken and it took awhile for the food, it was busy with the event in downtown so whatever, but no chips for the longer wait. One of the 4 ordered a veggie burrito and about 3 bites in, there was MEAT! We sent it back, it didn't take forever to come out remade, but ask the rest of us were ready for boxes by the time he was able to eat.

Here's the worst part, and the reason for the bad review! We got our receipt and noticed there was an increased charge for all entrees compared to the printed menu. We asked why and were told it was that the menu prices are only for cash sales and all cards have an increase of $3 per entrée! We asked if that was stated anywhere on the menu, it WAS NOT, nor was it told to us before ordering by our hostess or server, nor is it displayed anywhere on the outside or windows of their establishment. This is absolutely NOT OKAY! Customers need to be informed of charges like this before services rendered or merchandise purchased, it is unacceptable to falsely advertise price and expect increased payment when it's impossible for the customer to back out of the transaction. Normally this is only done where a single one time additional card charge fee is added to cover the cost of processing the transaction, not a full up-charge to every item NOT EVEN EXPLAINED?!

Y'all need to update your menu accordingly and make that card charge very apparent. That's shady business practice. Also, put prices on your drinks menu, $4+ for a fountain soda drink...
