Motel 6 Lagrange, GA — Hotel in LaGrange

You get what you pay for here. If every other hotel wasn't booked, then I wouldn't have stayed here. When I first arrived, the first room given to me smelled horrible. It smelled of cats, so I requested another room. They gave it to me with no question. Next, they do not provide a crib. In a room that can house up to four people and a baby, the room is only stocked with enough towels for two people. If you want more, then you have to ask for more and they struggle to help in fullfilling that question. When asked they gave one towel and a hand towel. I had to ask a second time for more towels. When the room is restocked even though the reservation says there is more than two the room is only restocked for two. Also when restocked, the sheets are not replaced. The sheets are just made, towels restocked and that's it. The pillows were not even put back properly. There were three pillows on one bed instead of two per bed. The shower wasn't cleaned either, because I still saw hair that was in shower from that morning. There was NO VENT FAN IN THE BATHROOM. That was disgusting! I say disgusting because the paint wasn't the right paint meant for a bathroom. The paint was chipping and flaking because of the dust from the shower. You could breathe in the paint dust that came off the wall. Also whoever painted the room didn't care nor did the owner or GM because locks were painted over so were the toilet pipes. There was a mosquito stuck in the paint in my room, KIND OF NASTY. The fact that there is no carpet doesn't bother me. The fact the floors aren't cleaned by the time I come back at the end of the day annoys me. I take off my shoe and immediately dirt sticks to my socks. The light sockets look hastely attached to the wall, which is unappealing. The beds squeak really bad and are really uncomfortable. There are no hair dryers, so I'm glad I decided to bring my own. There are barely enough plugs for four peoples phones. I had too unplug my phone to use the bottle warmer. The microwave only had one working button, "popcorn." And it blocked a mirror. The chair and table were cheap/small. There was no room for a recliner. The water temperature fluctuated, it never stayed constant. I got slightly burned it was too hot or froze because it was too cold. The bathroom door had a mirror on the outside to cover up punch holes. The door should be replaced. I don't suggest this place! I had to stay here because it was a last choice. I regret that choice. I should've stayed...

I am still at hotel but I want to mention some staff that are heck of employees. There is lots to say about this place and we are grateful by all means but because of the price and price alone we have stayed. First i have to say that if you check in in the evening you most likely will see Chris, if so...you got a good guy. He is a funny man, helpful, friendly, attentive and an asset to this place. SO tell Chris hi when you check in and let him know you have heard great things about him and make his day because he surely tries to make ours. Motel/Studio 6 is lucky to have this one up front. Now his wife, Chris's wife,(awful with names) she is in housekeeping....she bust her a`` in there, hot, slammed with laundry and busy busy BUT ALWAYS SMILES and never complains and is as helpful as she can be. She too is a plus to this establishment. Last but not least...let me first say the grounds are almost always a wreck due to people not caring about the property and throwing trash everywhere and not picking up after themselves...UNTIL SUPER FLY GUY JACOB comes in. This young man works his a-- off too. He literally makes the place look like a brand new place. He does trash at entire motel, he does parking lots, pressure washes, and more and this is a big establishment and he does it all by himself. He is never seen being lazy, he is always working....and if he isnt working at hotel and you see him it is either to or from his other job. So if you see a guy around the establishment working and talking care of the property, his name is Jacob. Say hi and let him know you heard about him. Make his day as well. Could have shared more on the negative side but its good to share positive too and these mentions needed to be mentioned. Studio/Motel 6 you have great employees here...hope you recognize them as well. they dang...

was just staying there recently just moved from atl me & my bf was having a disagreement while we were walking morning staff front desk lady intervined in our conversation stating “he needs to stop hitting me” when he wasnt we were having a conversation mind you in pregnant he basically said “he not from him where he from they dont do that” she took that as him being racist & yelled get off the property, shes calling lagrange police so i tried to talk to her & let her know he wasnt saying what she thought he was saying & that i had a baby in the room 2 years old that i wasnt from here & that we were sorry if she felt a way about what he said she go on to yell at me to get out her office that she was calling the police on us i was being overly respectful to her even though she was being soo rude to me so my mother in law came to try & talk to her she was also yelling at her also & locked the office door on us we waited until the police arrived & before even trying to explain our side and what happened we couldnt even talk before him asking for our information & saying we was banned that we were ( CT ) & had to leave within a hour im 6 months pregnant with a 2 year old standing in the heat because i paid a week there & couldnt get same day refund to get another room as fast we dont have a family its just us i wished we could of talked to a manager or owner to get a better understanding that if she didnt intervine we wouldnt be here right now but couldnt we instantly just got put off the property with nothing said after over all room was okay & housekeeping was great, the price...
