If someone is looking for the most wonderful B&B experience I would most highly recommend 33 Main. The inn owned by Annie Selke is top-notch in every way. The rooms are beautifully decorated . We stayed in The Stockbridge which overlooked Main Street in Lennox. The linens were so soft, mattress super comfortable, towels were soft and plush and the bath products were some of the best I have ever used. The room was perfect in every way. The staff of the inn were all terrific. A Happy Hour was set up every day at 5:00 and it was wonderful to enjoy a drink in the rocking chairs on the porch. Cheese platters were available and there were also wonderful home baked cookies. If someone desired it, there was a small area where you could make tea or coffee. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The food was all so fresh and the service was excellent. The day prior I was asked what is my favorite breakfast and when they learned it was French Toast, the following morning they made it for me and it was one of the best I have ever eaten. We enjoyed eating our breakfast in the covered porch area.| The inn is an easy walk to all the restaurant and quaint shops and galleries in Lenox. Across the street from the inn was an Annie Selke store, where I made some nice purchases. The inn is also is not far from Tanglewood and other Berkshire attractions. The staff also were very helpful in their recommendations and directed us to a wonderful farm stand where we purchased wonderful produce and flowers before we went home.| I most certainly hope that I one day may once again...
Read moreI’m starting to wonder if anything less than 4 stars has just been removed. The location is great for popping about in the Berkshire’s. The food was very good for what was offered and the chef was so nice and that’s really where it stops for us. The room was a nice size with a good sized tub, but everything in the room was so cheaply done and maybe we’re a different kind of royalty but it was hands down the least comfortable bed we had our entire trip. Our door opened out which is not a great safety feature and a fairly easy correction, the bookkeeping staff just hung about in the kitchen all day then took the guest cookies on their way out (we were the only guests), and on our last day we were woken up at 6AM by door slamming by who I could only assume was an owner or worker (some older male in a Mercedes not staying at the inn) despite quiet hours being 10PM-8AM and despite the fact we were the only guests and our room was RIGHT NEXT TO THIS DOOR. The customer service here is not on pace with the price point and in general this was such a bummer of a stay. We have given them a chance to reach out regarding everything noted in this review to only never hear back, so don’t expect quality service at this Inn. Stay at the Wheatleigh if you’re in the area or the Inn at Stockbridge if you’re looking for a sweet Inn experience (we met this inn keeper and he was so...
Read more33 Main is a true delight in the heart of Lenox. From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped in warmth, style, and thoughtful hospitality. The inn is beautifully appointed—elegant yet cozy—with every detail carefully curated, from plush linens to perfectly arranged sitting areas that invite you to linger.
One of the unexpected highlights? The cookies. Baked fresh daily, they’re the kind of comfort that makes you feel instantly at home—warm, delicious, and always waiting for you in the kitchen like a little gift after a day exploring the Berkshires.
The staff is gracious and genuinely kind, offering just the right balance of attentiveness and privacy. Whether you’re sipping wine on the front porch or wandering to nearby shops and restaurants, 33 Main feels like a home away from home—only more beautiful and far more relaxing.
A perfect escape in one of New England’s most charming towns. We can’t...
