I was looking online, craving some cookies. The one near me closes at 8 pm on weekdays for some reason, even though I think that's way too early. People eat desserts after dinner, right? Don't most people eat dinner at 7:30 - 8? But anyway, I come across one on google that closes at 9 pm, about 25 minutes away. So I get together, throw on my clothes, and-
"Sorry for any inconvenience, we will be closing at 8 pm tonight" is what I drove nearly 30 minutes for, only to be heartbroken at 8:40 pm
Seriously? Come on, no apology can take away how infuriating that is! You couldn't have at least updated your google page to say that you were closed? I ended up having to get Krispy Kreme, because every single other Great American Cookies was a good 30 minutes away, and I would've been too late by the time I would have gotten there.
It sucks, because they actually have good cookies, but this happens so often to the point that I struggle at even giving this business a good rating. I eat dinner, I think about cookies, I go onto google to see if they're open, and the place near me is closed, or closes in 5 minutes. So I have to drive ALL the way to this one. Every. Single. Time. So I'm sure you can understand my frustration when this place decided to close down early with some measly little Microsoft word paper taped to the door. They close way too early. Read moreWe visited this store earlier this evening and it wasn't crowded, a few people but not super busy. We had the sweetest older lady take care of us but before even ringing us up, EMILY, (i asked her name due to no name tag) the other associate came off so rude to the customers before us. They asked if they still had chocolate chip cookies and she said in a rude manner "NO, this is it" well, there actually was some in the warmer beside her that another customer received a few minutes prior from another associate and she made it seem as if the customers were wrong about it and didn't want to actually accept that they were in there and then she said "oh, 2 left and no more" That is not how you talk/treat customers...then I had the pleasure ( I say that lightly) of her ringing me up because the other lady that was originally helping me stepped aside/behind her to not be able to ring me up due to Emily doing it now.That also was rude.
This is our local GAC store and I don't know if Emily was having an "off night" but I was so distracted by her and her horrible customer service that the usual great experience we get there just went out the window.

Read moreI went to this location yesterday. I ordered pretzel bites and few other things. The girl that was helping me said it would take about 10 minutes which was fine for me. But mind you I work at one of the stores in Tanger and I was on break and only had 30 minutes so 10 minutes that big of a deal to me, and I had my store lanyard on too. So I sat and waited. 10 minutes went by then 20 and people were ordering the same thing and had to wait. When my break was almost up when I had about 5 minutes I left I asked how much longer and they said about 3 minutes. So then they came out and all the people ordered after me got their things before if did. One person ordered a box got that before me one person ordered a large and a different person ordered a reg and they both got that before me. This is very unacceptable to me bc I got here first and was the last one to leave, and I had a time limited. There needs to be some change....
