NEVER AGAIN!NOT handicapped friendly!Do not stay with a disability-you will regret it! We travel to the area often &this WAS our go to hotel. This was our last stay. Our first stay(well over a year ago)we had a bit of an issue at check-in because I have MS&due to medications&equipment, cannot valet(liability issues).Worked that out &had a lovely stay!!!After that, whenever we came back, they always knew I needed a spot up front to park my own vehicle, they always saved me a spot&it was all good...until this time on our 3rd night.I am writing this from my car, where I am unable to go inside to our room& join my family because they forced me to park far from the entrance...in a small spot in a large puddle.I am handicapped, cannot walk that far-nor navigate a"slippery lake".I informed the valet of that&they told me "its not that bad,we walk it all day"(wonder if they've also have had MS for 18y(PPMS type w/hundreds of spinal lesions)??...also wonder why the men from Texas& cybertruck owner weren't also told the same, guess it was "that bad" for those healthy young men or maybe they just wanted the"excitement"of watching me fall in the water when I lost my balance as they had quite a good time laughing all night&watching people park themselves, then confronting them as they walked in).Space they gave us was so small we couldn't open doors, had to park on the street to let the kids out, then go to the assigned space for the night Worst part??There were 2 spots available up front, but valet had to"save space"for young men in a cyber truck&young men in a large white truck who took 2 spaces but the handicapped lady?Parked several hundred feet away unable to open the door& stuck in her car all night. Why did we pay so much for this stay? Now I am wondering what I will do when I have to use the restroom At one point valet came over& told me I had to leave my vehicle(because the car next to me kept hitting my car w/her door-apparently I wasnt supposed to notice &instead took pics),told them I could not because of how far away they parked me,I am handicapped-unable to navigate the lake or distance. He shrugged & walked away.So they were fully aware that I was stuck &would not be able to make use of the room we paid for, just didnt care-guess whomever was in the cybertruck&white truck were pretty important(enough to strand me in my car for the entire night-w/o a bed to sleep in,while my legs swell from keeping them down after a long day& medical procedure 2d ago-&lose our business going forward(we stay~6-8w/y,so its not exactly a small bit of business...&hubs travels double that for work &will be avoiding Hilton properties as well-but hey, maybe it was worth it) Woke up to a barrel in front of my car, could not even move until hubs came(I cannot move a construction barrel)o In addition... 1)our 2nd room was dirty(first didnt have a tub),also had 2 full&we paid for 2 queen.Ottoman was missing. There were wrappers&trash in the pullout& under beds.Beds need to be replaced-badly,SUPER uncomfortable.Carpet is stained-everywhere,basic rug doctor would do wonders! But at least we had a tub! Would let this go if not for everything else-just added to disappointment that was our stay 2)breakfast has changed, now it is AWFUL! Dried out, shriveled up,low quality meat...nothing is in stock as they bring out 6 pieces of"french toast"w/"recipe"to make your own breakfast sandwich-w/line of a dozen people...needless to say only first 2/3 actually get to make the sandwich-rest get dried up meat & frozen egg patties(still cold!).2nd morning we didnt even bother w/"breakfast"-(adding to our costs that should have been included). This used to be a good breakfast. Was basic, just breakfast sandwiches&egg bites, but it was good w/decent selection! Not anymore!!No choices, take it or leave it,low quality, dried out canadian bacon Breakfast attendant does not speak English-found out when juice tray was overflowing &making a mess all over the floor-noone to tell Pool is nice, albeit small, but nice to have an indoor pool option-does the trick on a rainy day!

I don’t even know where to start with my recent experience. I live in Vegas and went for a funeral of a family member with my kids and husband but to our surprise, when we retrieved our car from the valet my husband noticed our car had been vandalized. One of the back windows was completed broken, scratches everywhere, the ignition had been messed with, wires everywhere, a tear on the passenger seat and things thrown all over the car and yet the valet did not mention anything when they handed the keys to us. Instead he had someone else complete the claim for us while he rushed to get the other guests taken care asap, maybe so they wouldn’t notice what had just happened. To top things off, when I spoke to the on site manager on the phone (Anthony Guzman) and explained everything that had happened and that we were out of state and had to have a car rented to get back home all that was said was that we had to wait 3-4 business days for an answer from them. No follow up was done after the situation. I don’t think it’s fair that we still have to come out of pocket for a car rental after paying almost $400 for a 1 night stay which included the $31 valet parking and still have our car vandalized and them not even try and take full responsibility for what happened on their property. We couldn’t even make the funeral. Thanks, I’ll never stay here again. Now, we’ll have to see how they take care of the situation. As of right now, I’ve made multiple calls and all I get is a voicemail.

Amazing new property! Great friendly staff & new construction rooms. 2 issues; 1. parking is too way too expensive and it's valet only. 2. Elevator doors take an unusual long time to close. Hence the minus one star. I hope they can fix the elevator issue and reduce the parking rate or provide a self parking option. They have an expansive lobby and breakfast seating area, including the restaurant and outdoor fire pit. Didn't get the opportunity to explore all what this place had to offer yet, however I plan to return back. Staff shoutout for excellent professionalism: Melissa at the front desk & Cale at maintenance. Let's hope this property maintains its charm. It's perfect for WH.

NEVER AGAIN!NOT handicapped friendly!Do not stay with a disability-you will regret it!

We travel to the area often &this WAS our go to hotel. This was our last stay.

Our first stay(well over a year ago)we had a bit of an issue at check-in because I have MS&due to medications&equipment, cannot valet(liability issues).Worked that out &had a lovely stay!!!After that, whenever we came back, they always knew I needed a spot up front to park my own vehicle, they always saved me a spot&it was all good...until this time on our 3rd night.I am writing this from my car, where I am unable to go inside to our room& join my family because they forced me to park far from the entrance...in a small spot in a large puddle.I am handicapped, cannot walk that far-nor navigate a"slippery lake".I informed the valet of that&they told me "its not that bad,we walk it all day"(wonder if they've also have had MS for 18y(PPMS type w/hundreds of spinal lesions)??...also wonder why the men from Texas& cybertruck owner weren't also told the same, guess it was "that bad" for those healthy young men or maybe they just wanted the"excitement"of watching me fall in the water when I lost my balance as they had quite a good time laughing all night&watching people park themselves, then confronting them as they walked in).Space they gave us was so small we couldn't open doors, had to park on the street to let the kids out, then go to the assigned space for the night

Worst part??There were 2 spots available up front, but valet had to"save space"for young men in a cyber truck&young men in a large white truck who took 2 spaces but the handicapped lady?Parked several hundred feet away unable to open the door& stuck in her car all night. Why did we pay so much for this stay? Now I am wondering what I will do when I have to use the restroom

At one point valet came over& told me I had to leave my vehicle(because the car next to me kept hitting my car w/her door-apparently I wasnt supposed to notice &instead took pics),told them I could not because of how far away they parked me,I am handicapped-unable to navigate the lake or distance. He shrugged & walked away.So they were fully aware that I was stuck &would not be able to make use of the room we paid for, just didnt care-guess whomever was in the cybertruck&white truck were pretty important(enough to strand me in my car for the entire night-w/o a bed to sleep in,while my legs swell from keeping them down after a long day& medical procedure 2d ago-&lose our business going forward(we stay~6-8w/y,so its not exactly a small bit of business...&hubs travels double that for work &will be avoiding Hilton properties as well-but hey, maybe it was worth it)

Woke up to a barrel in front of my car, could not even move until hubs came(I cannot move a construction barrel)o

So I want to give this a 5 star rating because everything has been amazing! The staff is so kind and patient with your needs, the rooms are amazing and beautiful, the tv and streaming options is even more updated, you don't have to suffer to watch the basic cable tvs! Would love to stay here for a month! The pool is heated and the gym is amazing! The breakfast is soooo neat and easy to access. This hotel is a modernize way of how hotels should be now! Aesthetically, necessity wise, and customer service wise! I understand though that they are working on some kinks because it's only been 1 month I believe since they've opened. Amazing potential to be top favorite hotel! But I have two main points that stops it from being a 5 star review.

The elevator door takes approximately 18-20 seconds before it closes. This has got to be the longest elevator door to close in my years of hotel stays. There's especially an awkward silence as you stand in your elevator while the other people wait outside for the next one, or when you are in an elevator with other people...there's the weird silence. My sister said that if there was a zombie apocalypse you'd hope that it takes forever for them to reach the elevator. But I heard they're actually working on that!

The parking is terrifying for my pocket. They do not have self-parking and only have valet. But if you're parking over night, good luck it's $30+ per night. Which is crazy if you're staying a week or more than 2-3 days. The surrounding areas only lets you park except 10 PM - 5 AM, so parking during the day is no issue, but at night, Ouch! Other than these two things, this hotel is perfect to stay in! Definitely worth the stay!

Shout out to Britney she went the extra effort to make our stay really comfortable! The whole staff in general! Also the housekeeping and maintenance staff when I bump into them in the hallways if I haven't met them they will introduce themselves, they're so kind and they will remember you so they can make your stay more amazing!

Update: After I had reviewed this, I still went back to stay for a few days, this time I saw some improvement! The elevator no longer takes long to arrive, close, and open! I was very ecstatic! The parking was still a little inconvenient for me, but this time I was able to enjoy the area and the accommodations they had. Love the pool if I could I would just sleep in the water all day! It's not heated (as far when I went back which is about maybe a year ago), but because of it being indoor the water was the perfect temperature to enjoy!

I also managed to enjoy the gym! It was quiet, very clean, and the machines are in top condition. Also I found out that there is a laundry room! Which was awesome! As someone who I previously said, stayed for almost two weeks, this was so convenient for me!

Also did I ever mention that this hotel is definitely animal friendly?! I was able to bring my puppers there and enjoy, I did get them some diapers from Amazon so that they wouldn't ruin...

July review: Everything was great at the hotel, except the housekeeping department. I didn’t get service half of the days staying. I had a housekeeper show up at my door at 9am, just as I was finish some emails and I said they could come in and do their work behind me as I finished work on my laptop. The housekeeper said she couldn’t do my work while I was in the room… per policy, which was fine. I asked if she could come back in a couple hours and she replied I either she performed the service now or I don’t get any service for the day. Really surprised by the response. I worked late nights at the hospital in Tarzana and I would worked on my laptop in the morning before getting ready. I’m sure this is why I never got service. I was out of my room each morning by 10am, but the housekeeping insisted that they completed their service around 9am or I didn’t get it. I was going to report this to the manager at departure, but departed on a Sunday and didn’t feel like the manager would be in. I felt I could address this issue in a survey, either by expedia or the hotel. The valet guys were great. The front desk always had a friendly greeting at departure and arrival and the night security guards were great. The weak link at the hotel is the housekeeping department.

Update: a month later in August:

I stayed at this Home2 suites off and on for 4 weeks. I learned the hotel allows for parties in guest rooms during the weekend. I was here on business and complained about a party thrown in the room next to me with at least 15 people and the music shaking the walls. I called several times and the front desk staff would do nothing to curb the noise. The staff said they have no manager on duty and there isn't anything they can do.The hotel charges 14 dollars a day for the maid service protection act tax of Los Angeles, but I never received maid service during my last stay of the last 2 weeks, so it’s basically a fraudulent charge. I worked late at night at the local hospital and had my DND sign up until 10am every morning, but the rest of the day was free for the maids to enter. Trash stacked up in the room to the point I had to use the elevator trash can. The staff never address that complaint either. The breakfast area was a letdown as well. The hotel nickel and dimes you with charges but doesn’t provides the level of service to justify the charges. I still had 3 more weeks on business in the area, but decided to move myself and my employees to another hotel in Calabases. I checked with 4 other hotels in the area when deciding to move and they did not charge the maid service tax. This is not a business...
