On Wednesday, 09/10, while visiting my sister in Woodland Hills, she recommended we try Blai Thai restaurant. Being a big fan of Thai food, I was all in. The restaurant has a clean, inviting interior with a glass-view kitchen you can see right from the dining area. Our waiter was friendly, offered helpful suggestions, and had a great personality. The first surprise of the meal was a motorized robot server that delivered our water—fun and unexpected. We started with soup, fragrant and flavorful, setting a great tone for the rest of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered Chicken Thai Basil—my go-to dish whenever I want to compare Thai restaurants. When it arrived, it looked beautiful, smelled amazing, and most importantly, tasted absolutely fantastic. The flavors were fresh and bold—truly outstanding. As the restaurant filled with more diners, I knew we had chosen well. In the middle of our meal, a man in a colorful tracksuit stopped by our table to clear our soup bowls. When I asked who he was, he introduced himself as Donerick—the owner. I laughed and said, “That’s funny, my name is D-Tommy.” He laughed too, and it was clear he was a genuine, good-hearted guy. We chatted with him for a while, learning about him and the story behind Blai Thai. The whole experience—from the food to the atmosphere to the people—was thoroughly enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back to Blai Thai. – Tommy

FINALLY!!! I MEAN IT, FINALLY AUTHENTIC SOULFUL DRUNKEN NOODLES IN LA! AND it is about dang time! I was able to sneak in and take a pic between my kiddos devouring it. It is beautifully seasoned, not too sweet not too salty. The sauces are chef's kiss! It has been over 15 years since I have had this done so well when not in a friends house having an Oma to make it for me. This is THAT good. Now let's talk gumbo. Yes , GUMBO IN LA ...that isn't vegan or some fake wanna be. This is REAL! OKRA AND ALL THE GOODNESS. Did you see the shrimp? Large, in charge and not the fake mess most places are selling now- a-days. The flavor is just right and NOT SALTY. Y'all, this is the place you go to to treat yourself to a meal worthy of your cash, time and appetite. Not run of the mill. Believe it or not, there are non pretentious chefs who just want to feed the soul. BLAI IS YOUR NEW THAI SPOT. REALLY, IT IS THAI & SOUL FOOD. Trust me, you will feel good upon entering and departure. Staff, excellent. Service, top notch, and FOOD, WONDERDUL AND WORTHY OF MY TIME TO DHARE MY DELIGHT! With all the new Rams in the house, I implore you to stop in for free parking and the perfect environment for a good meal. Canoga park is blowing up, and Blai is a great addition that is bringing flavor back to ya! Enjoy, trust and be good to each other!

Blai Thai brings the flavor! The dishes are authentic, bursting with bold flavors and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The perfect balance of sweetness and savory creates a familiar and unique culinary experience. The preparation is meticulous, and the service is exceptional. I’m so glad I discovered this place! Pad Thai - I'm not usually a fan of Pad Thai, but their Pad Thai is some of the best I've had. I ordered it twice while in town for the weekend. Beef Salad - one of my favorite! It's an upgrade from traditional Thai beef salad in freshness and flavor. They add vegetables and peanuts to the finely chopped beef, and the authentic Thai flavors of fish sauce, lime, chili, and toasted rice powder still bring out the familiar flavors. Tom Kha Soup - This is also one of my favorite soups here. I don't typically order Tom Kha, my friend ordered it, and I ended up loving it. It's sweet, coconut creamy, savory and tangy with lemongrass, galangal, keffir lime leaf, and the other aromatic flavors. This place is fresh, fun, and flavorful!

This is some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Certainly the best I’ve had in California. Better than most Thai places I’ve had the pleasure of eating inside of Thailand itself. The flavors, texture, quality of cooked meat and levels of spice of the dish come together harmoniously. I’m no food critic, no writer, I wish I was so that I could properly give this place the praise it deserves. I stumbled upon this spot and when I did… I order it 3 times that same week. Being there personally now, I understand what makes it so special. The care of the craft. A rarity that makes certain restaurants stand above the rest. This is one of them. The ambiance is pleasant. It’s clean, simple and well-thought out. The owner is terrific. A key piece of that care of craft I mentioned earlier. Try this food. You will not be disappointed. The cherry on top being, for the quality and care you’re getting here, the food portions will feed you 2-3 times, it’s very reasonably priced and the customer service is top notch. Winning across the board. Thankful to have found...
