I just do not understand this IHOP location. When you order curbside or to-go they act like uour food is not ready, and make you wait, when it has been cooked and bagged up. They have no communication and are not able to keep track of orders. Usually, IHOP restaurants have some of the best staff. I am not a complainer and avoid leaving negative reviews, unless it is VERY earned. Today, it happened again. I ordered for curbside, answered the text that I was on my way, checked in when I got there and was still waiting 30 minutes after the "order ready" time. After going in and inquiring about my order, no one had any idea what I was talking about...until i pointed out the bag to them. This food was sitting on the counter for 40 minutes and they did not offer to remake the food. I took it and left, but had to return, because the food was straight up cold. Cold bacon is ok, cold pancakes are disappointing, and scrambled eggs are just disgusting. Not really loving that we had to return to the restaurant to get the order remade. They did tell me that the check-in does not notify them you are there, and to call or come in... their phone number has a machine saying "this mailbox is not currently taking messages"... So, calling them is out... I did call them at the number on the order and on Google. Mayhap, the person in charge of the register or to-go orders could glance out the window when they have a pending curbside order, and see when there is a car fitting the description on the order is in the curbside parking slot?? Next time, I am just going to go to the Dennys across the street.
The punchline???? I GOT HOME AND MY ORDER IS WRONG!!!! OMG. NOW, MY KID DOES NOT HAVE FOOD. The food we did get was also sarcastically salted, and most of it went into the garbage. Read moreMy sister and I went here this morning to order the all you can eat pancakes. The restaurant was very busy and they sat us in a very remote corner. As a result, we didn't get any service for at least 15 minutes. When the server finally arrived, we ordered two orders of the AYCE pancakes and two lemonades. The lemonades arrived quickly. But after waiting another 15-20 minutes, only one order of pancakes arrived. Our server never came by to check on us. The plate that given to us was brought out by a different server. I told him it's supposed to be two orders of pancakes. He said, "oh really? Let me check on that for you." Off he went and he never came back. My sister was halfway through her pancakes when our server finally came by and asked how is everything? I told her that my order hadn't arrived. We only received one order of pancakes. She's like, "oh? But I ordered two." So she goes off to check on it and disappears for another 15-20 minutes. She finally came back with my order after waiting yet again. I was so angry that I almost walked out! But I was hungry, and my sister was the one who wanted to eat here. Clearly there was a miscommunication with the kitchen staff and our server. However, that does not explain the lack of common courteously! She did apologize for the delay, but I was NOT a happy customer when we left and she knew it. She did offer us another lemonade, but never asked if we wanted more pancakes (so much for AYCE!). After being in the restaurant for almost 1-1/2 hours, we just paid the bill and got out of there as fast as we could. FYI...you cannot edit your tip to whatever you want. It's set at 18 or 20%, or you can choose no tip at all. I wasn't paying, my sister did. I would have chosen no tip! I will NOT be going back to this location...

So I will write my review in the order things occurred. We were greeted and seated with a smile. When the hostess returned to take our order my son ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Stacker dinner and wanted mozzarella sticks as his side. 👎 😞 He was quickly told they don't offer "Substitutions" and was told what his choices were and that the price would still be the same if he didn't want any of them. So I spoke up and told my son to order what wanted and told the hostess that I wanted his side to be the fruit salad and to put it in a "To Go" bowl for me to take home. I then informed her that our experience regarding the "No Substitutions Rule" is a Negative and I would be including it in my review. I then ordered myself a Bacon Temptation Omelette with Hash Browns as my side. The food presentation was excellent and appeared to be very delicious. 👎 😞 However, my son let me know why he only ate half of his sandwich was because the meat was very dry, the bread tasted like it had previously been frozen, and that it didn't have sufficient flavor. Then he added the comment that it was very bland and would never advise anyone to order it. 👍 ☺ He said the mozzarella sticks were great and did eat all of them. My personal advice to IHOP Management is to either properly train the cooks how to prepare the meat and serve a tasty crowd pleasing sandwich or remove it from the menu all together.
