Service: The service at Aikan Sushi is consistently great. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step in. Whether youāre a regular or a first-timer, youāll appreciate the warm hospitality. However, there have been a few occasions when they forgot some items we ordered. While this can be a bit frustrating, the staff is quick to rectify any mistakes once pointed out.
Food: The food at Aikan Sushi can be a bit hit or miss, depending on the day and time of your visit. On good days, the sushi is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety is impressive, with a wide range of rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes to choose from. Some of my favorites include the spicy tuna roll, salmon sashimi, and the tempura shrimp roll. The quality of the food for the price is generally excellent, making it a great value for an all-you-can-eat option.
However, there have been times when the quality wasnāt as consistent. On a few visits, the sushi didnāt taste as fresh, and some dishes were a bit underwhelming. It seems to depend on the time of day and how busy the restaurant is. Despite these occasional inconsistencies, I still find myself coming back because when they get it right, itās really good.
Ambiance: The ambiance at Aikan Sushi is pleasant and inviting. The restaurant is clean, well-lit, and has a cozy atmosphere. Itās a great place for a casual meal with friends or family. The decor is simple yet tasteful, and the seating is comfortable. Whether youāre dining in or taking out, the experience is enjoyable.
Value: One of the standout features of Aikan Sushi is the value for money. The all-you-can-eat option is reasonably priced, especially considering the variety and quality of the food. Itās a fantastic deal for sushi lovers who want to try a bit of everything without breaking the bank. Even with the occasional hiccups in service and food quality, the overall experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the best all you can eat sushi spot in the valley period...unless you're a kid and like it when restaurants announce someone's birthday and the lights go out and edm music and disco lights turns on, where they proceed to embarrass you while u eat. If that's what you like then you can go to hikari sushi. But if you're an adult, then come here. Appetizers of all kinds available like salmon or yellowtail collar but this is the only place with all you can eat adegashi tofu and crispy squid legs. Sashimi, nigiri, rolls, and rice less rolls all here. Premium choices like raw oysters, sweet shrimp, uni, and toro for jus 5 more dollars. I wish they had more variety of fish available for the sashimi like escolar, mackerel, or amberjack. The service is the best thing about this place. Water refills are prompt, our waitress was amazing, staff is super accommodating to the fact I brought a 3 month old baby. Everyone appeas to work as a team, especially the guy in the fresh suit is out on the floor running plates, sweeping, etc. Rice less sushi plates look beautiful, but the sashimi plates look a lil rushed. Despite that I still say it is the best all you can eat sushi place in the valley, which is a lot to say cuz there are literally 1000s of sushi restaurants...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI celebrated my birthday here at Aikan with my family. We came around 530pm and had to wait to be seated, but when I explained our seating situation, the host, Natalie, was very accommodating to us as we had a child with a stroller and a family member who was using a wheelchair. This place got packed and we were seated up front near the entrance but also out of the way as to not bother anyone. It was perfect. Once we were seated, she was also kind enough to take the time to explain the menu and how to order. Our waiter, Tu, was also very helpful and considerate towards our family. Other staff came quite frequently to make sure to pick up any empty plates also. The food portions were a lot so if it's your first time, I advise to make your first round light so you can decide if you'll be able to eat more or not. We chose the premium menu and recommend the soft shell crab, squid legs and most of all, the oysters. We all agreed and thought the oysters were the most fresh we've had of all the sushi restaurants we've gone to. Even our drinks felt crisp and delicious. Highly recommend this spot for AYCE sushi! Small bonus is that it's right around the corner from the new...
