I just finished a week here (left yesterday 10/12/19 ). I can't say enough good about this one! I had the 2 bdr #310. My daughter and granddaughter stayed the first few days and then I had the place to myself rest of the week. It was clean, spacious, well stocked and safe. The staff, surroundings and accommodations made for a beautiful, peaceful retreat. The pool and hot tub looked nice, but honestly I never got in them. I went straight to the BEACH every morning and stayed until after sunset. Dolphins and more entertained me. It was well worth paying for the chair/umbrella set for the week. Always ready for me and both chair guys (and helpers) were friendly, professional and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do close by, but a one time trip to Publix and I was set, after family left. Early in the stay, we drove to St Pete and Clearwater and checked out some restaurants and sightseeing. Easy drives. Flight leaves tomorrow and I hope to come back to any of this area. Commodore Beach Club thanks for a great introduction to Madeira Beach!! I failed to mention there is only one bathroom, but it's big and has walk-in shower as well as tub and double sink. There is free washer/dryer conveniently located in both buildings. I did not have a balcony, but didn't miss it. During rains, I could still sit outside under covered porch on 3rd floor by my room. Some may want more glamour, but this unit had everything I...

My wife and I stayed at this dated resort. Yes, it is located on the beach, but that is about all I can say for the "resort". I would not call this resort living. Of course, this depends on your standards, so I will share our experience.

We were located on the hallway units that face the pool. The rooms are Noisy and the security staff did not assist with the noise at the pool after 10 PM, which I still feel is very late for a noise restriction. The guests at the pool, although not young people, still were partying and loud until 11:30 PM every night. When we spoke kindly to the security guard, the young man was upset and replied, "I can not get them to leave the pool. What do you want me to do? " That is not what I anticipated from the 'guard".

Guests, adults and children, run up and down this outside walkway in front of the room speaking loudly at all hours, early morning and night. We thought we were in a college dorm room.

The place is small and dingy. We were afraid to sit on the couches as they may have bugs.

Now I must say, the staff was very nice, but this did not reflect on the quality of the rooms.

The only room that is worth saying is the TOP floor which has only 2 units and faces the ocean , basically having it's own floor and patio area.

I can not recommend the Commodore Beach Club unless you can not find any other "timeshare unit" which was exactly why we...

Writing this just after ending 2 week stay. A million dollar view from the resort literally. The sunsets are to die for. I remember the units next door a couple years ago when built had a $3 M price tag on each condo. Same beach. Very convenient walk to John's Pass Village with multiple shops, restaurants ( Bubba Gump, Hooters, Hungry Fisherman's, etc.) and excursions ( casino cruise, sunset cruise, dolphin cruise, half and whole day fishing charters). The Kitchen's are completely renovated with everything including cabinets replaced. The property manager was very impressive with her knowledge and dedication. Very clean rooms. They even have a bed bug sniffing dog come in every month and check each unit. Wi-Fi is awesome, even reaching out to waters edge. TV's are the old squares, but we were told the TV's and several other things will be replaced within coming year We rode bikes daily on beach and around town. If you like to walk, the first pier North is 2.6 miles and the 2nd is another 9 tenths. So a nice morning walk or ride and back. The pool and hot tub was wonderful after a great day at the beach. And then finally for night cap, the Candy Kitchen which has been around since 1950. We can hardly wait to return. Now if I can only talk that dad gum boss into giving me 3...

I have been coming here every year since I was about 5 years old and we have carried the tradition with my children who are now up in age. I love coming here but just wish the bed in the room was a little softer (not hard like the laying on the floor) which sucks if can't handle an extra firm bed (granted they do have foam padding for a softer bed in case you need it). We mentioned to someone in the office about the tv in the bedroom not working, but hopefully it will be fixed today. I suggest on buying pam for the pans if you cook in them, cause everything sticks to them if not. Other than that it is a nice place for a get away from home. You will see beautiful sunsets as well as having that nice gulf breeze. Can't wait to return next year to celebrate my son's 21st birthday.

It was the worst Hotel that I ever stayed in my life. The guest service was so awful, even the security was so rude and disrespectful to us. There’s a lot Humidity in the room even we turned on the AC, the TV of the room doesn’t work. We tried to change the room with them but they said that they were “full” when the whole parking lot was almost empty and there’s a lot of rooms that the lights weren’t turn on. All the place is really old and it needs maintenance but maybe they don’t care and when we checked out, the old men of the Front Desk doesn’t want to take the keys and we should give to the maintenance guy. DON’T THINK TO STAY IN THIS PLACE.

We are still at Commodore Beach Resort. It is a room with a view. The beach is pristine, white sands and crystal clear waters. The room is very nice sleeps 6, very clean, front water views. Most of all are the beautiful sunrises and breath taking sunsets from this resort and you are also walking distance from John's Pass or a quick car ride. ❤
