Today, OH today, the waitress advised us to place our order before her 10 - 14 top, whixh we appreciated. Being regulars we knew what we wanted (1) Scambled eggs medium, sugar cured ham, apples and sour dough bread (2l) Grandma's breakfast with ONLY slice of country ham, scrambled eggs with cheese, apples. Slice of country ham to go. The order that came (1) Cold eggs, chicken, apples and pancakes; (2) Cold eggs, bacon, sausage, a half dollar size piece of country ham, apples and pancakes . Of course, we believe she brought us someone else's order. She disagreed, not good! Then returned with the same plates of COLD eggs, bacon, sausage and correct ham selections and cold pancakes and apples AND HAD THE rudeness to say the kitchen made an exception for us! That comment along with cold food was the worst, we would have gladly paid for the worthless breakfast. It is not about a free meal to compensate the errors made but the customer service! Oh and the separate slice of country ham to to go never came!! Yet, she slightly and with insincerity said "God bless you" as we left the dining area. While, we will still go there, she will never be a choice for a waitress. NEVER! We spoke with someone that stated he was a manager with a black apron, we observed him bust a table near us. It was just a very bad experience. I hope her attitude improves for others. She yelled out orders asking who had placed different foods irems that belonged to at the 10-14 top, so it's obvious this "tenured" CB waitress needs...

The glow of the antique lanterns cast a golden hue upon the wooden tables, setting the stage for what would become an unforgettable affair of the heart—and taste buds.
Then she arrived. Our waitress. A vision of hospitality and charm, with a wit as crisp as the bacon sizzling in the kitchen. She took our order with a knowing smile, her pen gliding across the notepad like a poet composing a love letter. And oh, how she delivered!
A never-ending Diet Coke, a fountain of effervescent devotion, arriving at our table with unwavering consistency. Each refill a testament to her dedication, each sip a reminder that true service is an art. She danced between tables, offering laughter and light, a seasoned veteran in the art of comfort dining. And when we sang her praises to the manager, we discovered her secret—seven years of unwavering service, a trainer to the next generation of Cracker Barrel’s finest.
The food? A symphony of southern delight. Each bite a whispered promise, each dish a love letter to tradition. And with every sip of that bottomless Diet Coke, we found ourselves falling, deeply and irrevocably, for the warmth and wonder of it all.

Long story short, don't expect anything for your trouble beyond a refund for the missing items, or the items they left out, if you are willing to drive back to get them.
My wife ordered 3 meals online and I drove to pick them up. When I got there I was told the kitchen was behind, so I'd have to wait. Fair enough. I have no problem with that. Our order was brought out with an excessive wait and I drove home.
When my wife unpacked the bag, we were missing one meal. I told my wife to call them and I would drive back and get the missing order. When I got there, they were expecting me, and said they would have my refund ready in a moment. I assumed they would make my missing meal and were offering a refund for my trouble. No. They were simply refunding the missing meal. I said I need the meal, otherwise someone at home would go without. I was told they could refund the missing meal, or they could cook the missing meal. Not both.
I told them I needed the missing meal, and that this whole time my meal is sitting at home getting cold.
When the food was ready, a manager brought it out to me. I told her I wasn't happy. She shrugged her shoulders and said she was sorry, but she offered nothing else.
Most restaurants would offer something free, a piece of cake, a coupon, or even the missing meal for free as compensation. But don't expect that sort of service at...
