American Mattress — Hotel in Maine Township

I came to American Mattress primarily because it was the closest to my rental car drop off at the airport beings that I just moved from Louisiana and needed a bed. I checked their website and saw that they offer free shipping on orders over $499. I'm going to need this as I do not have a personal vehicle now living in the city. I checked the reviews on this place and quickly took note that "John" seems to be the go-to guy to buy a mattress from in the Des Plaines area. I entered American Mattress Saturday morning hoping I would be able to catch John on the floor to sell me on my future sleep-set. As I approached the front desk, I was greeted with a hand-shake and a "Hello, I'm John." Now we're cooking with fire. I expressed my concerns with what I needed. Price and size. With all the hustle and bustle of moving within 24 hours, I completely forgot to measure out my new room for where my bed will lie. We really liked working with Bill Mackey the store manager here. We bought a twin mattress here on our second short visit and Bill was knowledgeable, upfront, helpful, and personable. We hadn't shopped for a mattress in maybe 15 years and were out of date on the industry. But American Mattress had the advantage of being the third and last shop we visited, and we sort of knew what we wanted and what we wanted to pay at that point. Bill was the right guy at the right time for us, and he liked that we knew a bit also! American Mattress also had another advantage - they had a nice closeout special on a quality twin mattress and that pretty much nailed it for us. Great store! Michael went above and beyond to help us! We came in looking for a mattress with high expectations and very small budget! We honestly weren't sure if we were going to be able to find what we were looking for! We didn't want to sacrifice the quality! Michael let us try different mattresses asking what we liked and didn't like about each one of them. After 10 minutes of narrowing down he finally found a mattress we loved within our price range! He was extremely knowledgeable and answered each one of our questions!
