Dotombori — Restaurant in Maine Township

I had the pleasure of having dinner in here with 5 of my friends a few weeks ago. Everything was top notch: ingredients, the appearance of the portion and service of the staff. Each of us ordered a different type of sushi with some funny names (like "Rainbow Dragon" or "Las Vegas"), which we could freely share. One of us had Yaki Udon Noodles with Chicken and vegetables. As dessert 3 of us ordered Mochi Ice Cream Green Tea and Mango flavored. We also tried Japanese Vodka - Kurosawa Sake. Definitely it was the best sushi I have eaten in my life so far! The order was large for 6 people, but we didn't wait more than 20-25 minutes (the noodles were served even after about 15 minutes). The bill was not low, but in overall, the dinner was definitely worth the money. If it wasn't for the fact that I was a guest in this area, I would definitely eat again in the near future. Food was good. Just FYI, the rolls have a lot of rice - it’s a personal preference thing but I wish they had less rice OR don’t pack the rice too much. The rice was packed so hard I had a difficult time trying to shave off the rice a bit. Customer service.. ordered for pick up and was having issues with the online order system. Called the restaurant and was told to make the order online as they are not taking phone orders. When I told the lady the website ordering system is not showing the options that I want she started sighing, voice tone change, annoyed at me for not being able to figure out online ordering. I understand the whole world is under staffed. I worked at multiple restaurants and know that some days you just have a bad day. But I do not think you need to have that attitude towards customers. At the end of the day you chose to be in customer service industry. Didn’t have to ruin my day like that....

1 star for a good food they serve. After being a customer for over 3 years i had to lower my score due to disrespectful, embarrassing and pathetic customer service. While having a dinner at Dotombori we experienced unfriendly and rushed service from their waiters, still i thought to myself maybe its happening bc they are busy, alright no problem But the last straw was, after being there for an hour, they had audacity to ask us if we are done bc they NEED A TABLE while i still have a food on my plate Due to a big difference in age between me and the older waitress i remained calm and just left This is smth Ive never experienced before and i dont think i ever will This is United States of America and the employees of Dorombori should know how to do their job Take some training in customer service and while u are on it improve your...
