Booked through cheap tickets, had great price and looked roomy and simple for our stay. However, was blindside with a cash deposit of 200, only 100 if you used card. At the front desk. It gets refunded however if you have. Card 3-5 business days. I missed my loop hole to back out so I stayed. The bathroom tub was painted white and was chipping. Found that out when my son (6months) almost ate the paint coming off the tub. Pulled back the black out shades and found a blood stain big as day on it. Microwave broke while I’m use and the refrigerator followed. No sign to let housekeeping know not to come in, and they walked in while I was putting my son down for his nap. Room doors do not close all the way, one must push it closed all the way to make sure. The beds were good to sleep in and the pool was perfectly warm. Their market place doesn’t have much in it and breakfast is okay. Next time I will just pay the extra money for a room.

Great place to stay, environmental friendy, even though the doors are a little thin. Can hear anyone talking in the halls like it was in your room. I would still come back!

I had reservations here for 2 nights September 27-29 2016. I was traveling from New Mexico for a heart procedure to be done at Phoenix Children's Heart Center. We arrived Tuesday afternoon and checked in. The room seemed decent. We brought our bags down and went to get dinner. My last meal before my procedure scheduled at 5:30 am Wednesday morning. We came back to the hotel and didn't sleep very well. My mother said she felt like bedbugs biting her, especially on her hand and fingers. We thought she was just dreaming, even though her fingers were itchy. We left by 4:30 am to the Hospital. After my procedure I layed in the hospital still for about 5 hours before I was discharged. I was told to take it easy and rest and don't travel back to New Mexico. An almost 7 hour drive puts me at high risk for blood clots. We arrived back to the hotel around 8 pm Wednesday night. We planned to sleep in, relax, enjoy complimentary breakfast . NEVER HAPPENED! At 1:30 am I got up to use the bathroom, my parents woke up to help me walk. This is when my mom noticed something crawling on her blankets. It was a BED BUG! She captured it and we bagged it right away. I went down and spoke to Rod the only front desk employee that night. He was very nice and spoke highly of the General Manager getting things resolved. He offered to move us to another room, I said no. I didnt have the energy to move. We couldn't sleep anyways. When I asked he willingly gave me several trash bags, soo that we can pack our stuff in. He was apologetic and understanding. He said he would leave a message for his GM Victoria Apodaca. I had high hopes that she would do the right thing. I left the bed bug in the bag for him to show her. I had taken many pictures of the bed bug, my mom bites on her finger, and brown, yellow stains in the crevices of the mattresses. We checked out and left by 3:45 am. We got back on the road to New Mexico, slowly and extremely exhausted. I waited, No call. I finally call and speak to Victoria Apodaca. She insisted she called me and told me she was only going to refund me 1 night, not the 2. I asked why? She said something to its the Marriott policy of 1 night 100% guarantee?!? She was rude. Heartless. Clearly does not deserve to be in the position she's in. Her job is about running a Hotel smoothly. Hotels are Hospitality centered. That is the business. She had like no interest in making the wrong, RIGHT!! It not that it was such a horrible place to stay, but GM like that don't reflect the field they work in. I get Life happens, things happen that are out of their control, but if your gonna run a business, do it RIGHT! ESPECIALLY if your business thrives on people's comfort and needs being met! Needless to say, this experience makes it 1 of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Think twice before staying here. And know the GM Victoria Apodaca does not take kindly to her guests and their comfort in staying in her hotel. DON'T STAY HERE!! You will either share a room with a bed bug OR be totally bugged at the way Victoria Apodaca runs her hotel....

If you have the extra money spend it and go elsewhere. Im a person who gives good and bad reviews so im not on here just to complain, I want you to know what to watch for if you do visit. Lets start with the good about this place on my 2night stay on a 4day vacation. Of course the rates are cheap. The area is nice and quite. The chocolate chip cookies at the front desk are on point. The beds are surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast is hard to mess up but I was pleased. Ooook now with why I will not stay again. Lets start with the $5 per night for resort fee's. This place is far from a resort but it was cheap so i didn't let that be a deal breaker. The morning after our first night of stay the sink was leaking water over night and had soak the whole front area of our room. I let the front desk know immediately so I wasn't charged for any damage, and of course no one came to check it out. Going into my second night around 9pm I showered up to go hit the town and see the night life and the water wouldn't turn off at all. Once again i went to the front desk and told them the issue. They sent someone up to take a look at the tub he played around with a few things and left told me he will be back. As im leaving to catch my ride the same guy was at the desk folding towels. I asked the guy whats up i thought you were fixing the tub and he tells me no I just work here. I didn't stick around because i had plans already to head out. I returned back to my room around 2:30am to find parts from the tub laying around and water still running. At this point i was too tired, had a few drinks, and didn't want to go deal with it. My cousin who i was staying with in the hotel went down to speak with the front office. The next thing I know we are moving rooms at 3:30am to another room that had a toilet that wouldn't stop flushing. At 11:30am I wake up to two ladies at my door asking are we doing a late check out or staying another night. I went right downstairs requested to speak with a manger about all my troubles and of course no manger on duty. I was told there is nothing they can do but refund my resort fee's lol.... I gladly packed my gear walked down to the Hilton explained this story and was given a executive suite for two nights at the...

At first glance, this place seems like a great find. Unfortunately as soon as you enter the lobby to check in with the staff, it’s a direct plumit into failure and regret. Starting with the front desk staff not familiar with the deposit policies and assuring me that my credit card would not be charged the $100 deposit fee for incidentals that it is merely a “hold until check out”. I was reassured upon check out that the funds would post the same day of check out. After realizing 2 days after check out that the funds were actually charged to my account, I called the hotel to speak to the manager in hopes to reverse the charge. The front desk staff took my contact info down stating the manager wasn’t there and would return my call later that day. She never returned my call for 3 more days until my patience wore thin and I called the hotel and was again given the run around by the front desk employee telling me the typical routine general statement they are told to say when questioned about the bait and switch maneuver used to benefit off hotel guests deposit money. I was told the manager wasn’t working and would call me back until I threatened to call corporate all of a sudden said manager magically appeared on the phone. She instantly took on the same typical routine answering patterns used to blow guests off. I assured her my bank credits back money instantly without ANY hold on money and that its the hotel that needs to release the hold on my credit card and send me an email stating that the hotel isn’t charging me the $100 desposit. She then rudely tried telling me there wasn’t any corporate or any one above her in the company. Disgusted by her lack of intelligence and pure incompetence, I decided to hang up and call the hotels main franchise corporate office. Just as I went to hit call on my phone I was alerted via text that my funds were JUST released by the hotel and credited instantly to my card, PROVING the managers level of intent against hotel guests finances. I will NEVER return to this hotel again and do...
