It was our first time there, and we arrived early at 5 pm, being the first group in the restaurant. The place is spacious with cute decorations, and the K-pop music playing on the TVs added to the lively atmosphere.
The menu had so many food options that we were eager to try them all. However, my group found the soup a bit too spicy for our liking, but the waitress kindly offered to adjust it for us. We ended up ordering a variety of dishes including grilled squid, Ojingeo Bokkeum, Sunsal Chicken, Deep-fried whole chicken, Kimchi Jeongol, Dumplings, and DIY Rice Ball. The DIY Rice Ball activity was a hit, especially with the kids.
Overall, the food was delicious, and we managed to handle the spiciness well. We're already looking forward to returning at a later hour to experience the rumored cool kids' dining time, which we hear is like having dinner at a nightclub.

Read moreIf you’re looking for a spot that delivers incredible flavors and a vibrant atmosphere, Hanshin Pocha is a must-visit! I recently ordered the tonkotsu and paired it with their mango highball soju, and I was blown away.
The tonkotsu was nothing short of amazing.
As for the mango highball soju, it was a refreshing surprise! The sweetness of the mango was perfectly balanced with the crisp, slightly fizzy kick of soju. It wasn’t overly sweet, making it an ideal complement to the hearty tonkotsu.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the vibe of the place made it a fun and enjoyable dining experience. Whether you’re there for dinner or just drinks and snacks, Hanshin Pocha delivers on all fronts. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!

Read moreStraight from K-town Los Angeles, it's Hanshin Pocha! Hanshin Pocha is a California-base chain of quick-casual Korean street food taverns. Think tasty bar food!
There was a multitude of items that our table ordered: Barbeque pork with cheese in gochujang sauce, DIY rice balls, odolppyeo (deep-fried cartilage), army stew, and some chicken with a wasabi aioli. Everything was tasty here and we washed everything down with some Chamisul Fresh. The pork with the cheese was especially delicious with its extremely bold flavor. I enjoyed how hot the cheese stayed as well. The deep-fried cartilage was more meaty than I expected as I was expecting more crunch.
All in all, Hanshin Pocha is a great place. There's plenty of seating and the late-hours is pretty alluring. Come here for some good...
