Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Mesa

I'm going to give them a very fair rating based on the 10 to 12 times that we have been here at this location. I have called ahead for my food before weighted the allotted amount of time showed up and my food was not available they had actually lost my order, this happened twice apparently they gave my order to someone else. We had come in on two other occasions in which we sat down with our family of seven and apparently they completely lost our order as a half an hour passed by and I finally asked for our food was she kept saying it would be out very quickly but at the 50 minute point I knew something was up. I asked for the manager and they came over and I told them to be honest with me and just say that the order was lost and they never cooked it in the first place which was very clear that was the case, I give her kudos for answering honestly but I told her that the waitress should be fired technically for telling me that the food would be out immediately and then it was already being made which it was not. Now to rectify the situation the manager did ask us to wait about 10 minutes and she would take care of the situation I told her we were done waiting she asked if I could wait so we did she brought out all of our food in to go boxes and told us it was free of charge. I was not looking for a free meal I was looking to sit down and enjoy a meal with my children and wife however it did make me feel a little bit better about the situation. This actually happened twice. The other 8 or 9 times we went it went pretty flawless the food came out quickly it was prepared for liking, one of the occasions was my little guy's birthday and they all came over and sing to him which made him very happy. I will say that this location tends to not ask you if you want extra fries you have to flag someone down and ask for them at which point either immediately bring them to you or it seems to take 10 minutes to get the fries to your table. This is regardless of how busy the restaurant is I think sometimes you just get lucky with the waiter that happens to be nearby with the tray of french fries. We will be back as my kiddos really like the burgers here a little more consistency would be appreciated but I am giving you a pretty decent reading because of the majority of our experiences and I don't do that normally...

This restaurant has become a location that friends and I now avoid going to for any meals or gatherings.

The fact that they have managed to make mistakes on our orders 8 out of the last 10 visits, and have yet to get an online order correct makes going here to eat an incredibly unnecessary and unwanted chore of an experience.

They no longer have simple things accessible to customers, like napkins and silverware, but instead have substandard service options that you expect to see in a lesser restaurant chain such as the paper towel roll sitting on the table or having to request silverware that arrives in a pile on a small tray. They also apparently don't like to refill condiments like ketchup bottles and such since we always have to ask for them and then wait the 10+ minutes for them to arrive. It feels lazy and uncaring.

Getting your food, refills, or anything in a timely manner is impossible. If you wait for your original server then you should expect a simple meal to become a very, very long situation and be prepared to eat cold food with little to no refreshments. The only worse situation is ordering your food online...

They have NEVER gotten any item we order online, or over the phone, correct and this includes salads that we request them to not add things to, which means less work on one of the simplest items on their menu. This is completely baffling and exactly why there are reviews here from Doordash, Grubhub, etc drivers that find this restaurant completely unhelpful and not worth the effort or time.

Avoid this location. It's not worth your time, effort, or money and you can definitely find MUCH better restaurants with proper service in the general area.

Today I met my friend Kate here for lunch to visit and catch up on things. We had a really AWESOME waiter named Gavin. He was so awesome in fact, that he had our drinks refilled, our fries refilled, and checked on us a lot. He was very sweet, funny, charming, and did an AMAZING job! We were very impressed with his customer service skills as he went above and beyond for us ladies! And might I add he is very handsome and his beautiful smile just made my day and made me melt! I hope you keep him around for a long time because he really has great customer service skills and it shows!

I had the chicken sandwich, which I took home along with sweet potato fries. A VERY GOOD LUNCH but so filling and since I was recently in the hospital for two months, my appetite ha shrunk a bit but hey, the bright side is I have dinner tonight from a great place! Kate had a gourmet burger and regular fries and like me she took the rest of hers home as well. I had a peach tea which is my absolute favorite and soooooo good! She had regular iced tea with her meal. We really enjoyed our lunch, our visit, and the time Gavin spent with us today! We will definitely come back again!

The restaurant is very clean and I love all the pop culture. The Pac Man lights caught my attention right away, as I am a Pac Man fanatic! I had never been to that location but I liked it so much I will definitely return, plus I think it's closer to my house than the one I've been to in Queen Creek. ALL your employees we interacted with today were so friendly and very happy. I liked seeing this!
