Waffle House — Restaurant in Mesquite

Let’s talk LOGISTICS!!! I placed an order online. First hand when I walked in to pick up my order, the lady promptly handed it to me, I was surprised! I get home to realize my order was WRONG (missing items). I go back to pick up the rest of my order, the same lady tells me…as I explain what’s going on. That I needed to wait another 20 plus minutes for my MISSING items to get done. I questioned her why I needed to wait that long? Her response was ”we have a lot of orders ahead of you dine-in & online. I tried to explain it was not an initial order, it was their mistake. Why do I need to wait so long for your “my bad? Why would I need to wait for orders to get done who initially came in to your system after mine? When I ask for a refund because I didn’t get what I paid for and I didn’t have time to wait. Her response was to go online and figure it out. She didn’t know how to issue a refund. Instead of saying let me get my manager! She remembered she had a manager once things got heated and we started arguing. Then she thought about the manager! Where was your manager when I asked for the refund? While all this is going on and she’s in the back expressing to her manager what’s happening (hand signals and all). Another lady asks the cook to put my order on the grill, THANK YOU!!! All of this could of been avoided if the first lady knew customer service skills and time management. And if she saved that same energy she had clapping back at me to get your customers in and out. My order could of been ready way before we both lost...

Ok when I came to visit three weeks ago everything my order was fine but now let me see if I can say this in a very nice way . First off the tables were filty they make customers wait in they car til the tables are clean I came last week and the Black gentleman who cooks around 6am cooked our hash browns so dang hard we couldn't even eat them and I stay too far from this waffle house to bring my food back and this week I put in my order and I ordered the hash brown with the works and the same cook forgot to put the cheese on it not only that they forgot my ham and when I tried to call back I got a freaking answering machine that was useless night shift crew they are a bunch of lazy workers this is getting out of hand and plan ridiculous someone needs to check on this establishment at night its out of order . Oh and by the way the guy that was cooking actually arguing with a young lady in front of customers and she seem to be really scared of him but besides that I think the health department needs to visit this establishment due to it being not clean every time I go here my last time I will wait til I go to forney my part of town where I stay . You ask me the whole waffle house needs to be shut down or needs to have a new manager in...

Worst service at a waffle house in Mesquite. Walked in the door this morning nobody in front of me. Standing in the doorway for approximately 3 to 5 minutes with no acknowledgment of my presence. I then took it upon myself to go ahead and grab one of the empty tables thinking maybe they just want me to see it myself. Usually when I go to waffle house I’m greeted when I walk in and told to pick a seat. This time no greeting no acknowledgment that we were there and after sitting, my daughter and I sat at our table for 10 minutes while nobody acknowledged that we were there and then I hear the employees arguing over who is going to take our table sense the table assignment apparently belong to nobody. I then sat there for a few more minutes thinking maybe someone was going to come say hello and take our drink order. Nope nothing not even I’ll be with you in a minute. There were several open tables in the restaurant and more employees then there were customers.
