Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Mesquite

My brother and I frequent this location almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day. We almost always order the same thing (on occasion I’ll switch between BOSE or my Dirty Chai).

Today I am almost dumbfounded by the lack of professionalism and respect from not only the drive-thru barista but the manager on duty as well.

We frequently order ahead for drive-thru pickup about 5-8 minutes before arrival. Majority of the time, we still find ourselves waiting in the drive-thru line when at the window.

Today we waited, unacknowledged, for over 3 minutes at the window, after waiting behind two other vehicles. When the barista finally came to the window she abruptly opened it and said hang on, immediately closing the window and departing. When she returned she handed my drink to my brother and again departed without a word. When she came back again she handed my brother his drink and took off again. He noticed it was improperly prepared so he was made to blow his horn to get someone’s attention. When the same barista returned, he explained the situation and she literally snatched the drink out of his hand. He re-expressed the concern and requested a manager.

The manager approached the window and as my brother is trying to explain what’s happening she kept interrupting him and saying she apologize and would speak to the barista over and over.

I can appreciate a midday rush can be frustrating and I cannot pretend to know if either of them were having a rough day… but each customer should be treated with the upmost respect and provided with the brand...

This is most ghetto Starbucks I have ever been to in my life. Please boycott this location they do not deserve ANYONES hard earned money. So when I first walked in I was looking at the food items behind the glass while holding my 3 year old in my arms. Two staff members came to check and see if items were stocked in the refrigerator under the display and came very close to me without saying excuse me. The man who worked there was so close he brushed up against me. I waited 20 minutes for a wrong order. While I was waiting the girl who got everyone’s food items kept slamming them on the counter (literally). I asked for a cup of water and waited and waited while others who came in after me received their order first. I was told the reason why was because it depended if I ordered a cold or hot item. When a man who walked in after me got two waters and I still didn’t receive one. Finally when I got my order I got an iced Frappuccino instead of a cappuccino. Starbucks charges way too much to have this ghetto of an atmosphere. Something just seemed not as clean and staff not as friendly as other locations definitely will not be returning. *If you don’t want to drive to the town East location I highly recommend bear cave coffee just up the street on Davis St. They are family owned with delicious coffee and great customer service every...

Wanted to leave a compliment and a complaint. Hannah was wonderful, great customer service, polite, helpful just a joy to order from. Unfortunately the barista DQ was rude and unkind. When he called for our drinks my daughter said thank you twice and he just stared the first time and just said “ok” the second time. Not only to us but also to the customers picking up mobile orders as we sat in the lobby to enjoy our drinks. A customer told him “I’m here to get my drinks” he replied rudely “we’ll get them” I live down the street 3 mins away and frequently come to this location but for the attitude and demeanor he expressed I will drive to another Starbucks than to have to deal with an unhappy, unpleasant employee. When asked his name he gave me a blank stare as if he didn’t know his own name, I asked for his managers name he stalled but did say Nikki. Then he asked for what and I let him know he simply replied “ok” unbothered. So sad how people can be at a place of business where customers service and good service should be delivered.
