I booked this for a stay on 5/15/25-5/18/25 through Hotels.com, thinking I had found a great deal. I was mistaken. The pictures must be from when they first opened. When I got there, I was very disappointed. There was a strong smell of some sage or something that had me coughing or trying to catch my breath. As we are sitting in the area with tables, I notice that the trash can is overflowing. How could this be a place to serve food, and it looks like this? I was given a room on the 1st floor on the right side of the hall. I walked into the room and was very surprised by how small it was. It was for myself and my son, who is about 6 ft, and we could barely move around in the room. When we pulled back the curtains, our view was what it looked like, the alley or the side of the building with their dirty mops and rags. How disgusting was that for your guest to see! There was a closet that looked old and unclean with a small refrigerator in. I felt overwhelmed and said to the front desk person that I was not happy with the hotel. This was not a place that I wanted to lay my head. My son and I took a walk to just clear my head of everything wrong. I had booked this trip to relax to get my health on track. THIS HOTEL MADE ME VERY STRESSED. When I came back in there was a new person at the desk. I advised that I would like to CANCEL MY STAY AND REQUESTED A REFUND!. He stated that he had 1 other room for me, He stated that he had 1 other room for me, but the room had the same issue. He then advised that because it was with Hotels.com I would need to ask for my money back on their end. I reached out to Hotels.com, I was placed on hold as they reached back out to the hotel for a REFUND and was told NO REFUND. I have yet to get my money back from the Century Hotel. I did take pictures of what I was speaking about. I felt and would be glad to share, that Century Hotel was not at all what I saw on the pictures. I didn't feel safe or comfortable laying on the bed, in the room for a stay. I asked that someone reach out to me to help me...

Read moreWe had a terrible experience with their parking company that they use..Vespa parking. I believe the owner is Giovanni Vespa, and he is the one who took our car to park for the evening and brought it back the next day. When we retrieved the car, it had been ransacked. Someone had gotten into the car the night before and stole some money and an expensive pair of sunglasses. Giovanni adamantly denied that anything could have happened, as he says, he was in the garage all night with video camera on. This does not explain the topsy-turvy state our car was in when we got it. All areas had been ransacked, from the glove compartment, the trunk, The dashboard compartment, etc. It was so obvious that the car had been ransacked. We are thinking Giovanni accidentally left the car unlocked and fell asleep during his night shift. What a shabby excuse for a car parking company. Our complaint with Century Hotel is that the front desk attendant on duty did nothing to help us. We were left to deal with Giovanni from Vespa parking services who denied the car could have been broken into. We asked if there was a manager we could talk to and the attendant on staff said no…he or she was not there. it was very clear to us that the front desk person wanted to have nothing to do with this problem even though Century Hotel has a business relation relationship with them and offers their services Century hotel cannot disassociate themselves from a problem like this and make us deal with it. They are the ones who have a relationship with Vespa parking services and they need to help us. We got nothing. We called the Miami police and they came out to help. Please do not book this hotel until they disassociate themselves from this shabby, dishonest, racketeering parking service. We were told when we checked in to pay $40 in cash. No...
