Review:
If you're looking for a stunning sunset experience in Miami Beach, look no further than South Pointe Park. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful park at sunset, and it was an experience I will never forget.
As soon as I arrived, I was immediately struck by the park's vibrant energy and bustling atmosphere. The park was alive with people of all ages, families, couples, and friends, all gathered to witness the awe-inspiring sunset. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the air, creating a warm and inviting vibe that was contagious.
As the sun began to set, the park was transformed into a magical wonderland. The sky turned into a stunning palette of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting off the calm waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It was a breathtaking sight, and I found myself lost in the moment, enjoying the serenity and beauty of the experience.
The park is well-maintained, and the amenities are plentiful. There are plenty of benches and seating areas where visitors can sit and enjoy the view. The walkways and paths are clean and well-lit, making it easy to navigate the park even as the sun begins to set. The park also offers a variety of activities, including a playground for children, a dog park, and a pier for fishing enthusiasts.
The vibe at South Pointe Park is simply amazing. The mix of people, cultures, and languages creates a unique and vibrant energy that is hard to find elsewhere. The atmosphere is relaxed, and people are friendly and welcoming. It's a perfect place to make new friends or simply enjoy the company of loved ones.
In conclusion, South Pointe Park is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a perfect sunset experience in Miami Beach. The stunning scenery, friendly atmosphere, and welcoming vibe create an unforgettable experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of...
Read moreIf you grew up in Miami, you know the South Pointe Pier and Park. It was the place you'd go senior skip day - not that I might have engaged in such behavior - to jump from the rocks and dive into the inlet...to walk along the old wooden planks to fish or make out or something of that sort.
Well like most of Miami it's grown up and been gentrified. The structural frame of the pier has been rebuilt, and there's actually a security officer that walks around at dusk to shut down the gate. But in and between, you can go out there to take a selfie with Fisher Island in the background, or just take in the zen of crashing waves. (The rock jetty is still there, and shh but you can still sneak a dive ;)
Bordered by a high end steakhouse, and with reduced parking (hence only 4 stars), the rest of the park is also cleaned up. There's a kiddie play area, as well as a nice infill mound that you can get some good cardio walking it. Besides the metal sign to the pier, there are a few modern-looking light posts. The park is dog friendly, and there's also a kiosk selling beach staples.
You still have a great view of the sunrise, Fisher Island and the inlet. Full moon (and the occasional thunderstorms off the bay)...

If you don’t like crowds don’t come in late afternoons, otherwise it will be as crowded as on my pictures. Mornings are chill, and I’m sure the sunrises here should be epic too and without crowds.
The lighthouse is located on the western side of the South Point Park, it’s really easy to spot once you get to the park.
If you are like myself who likes art blended in within the city, parks, etc, I recommend you coming here, you...
