Read moreMy wife and I met other friends at Nikki Beach in Miami on 8/9/2024 for a friends bachelor & bachelorette party. We reserved a table for 15 of us ahead of time.
Given the size of the group, I called Nikki beach to confirm the dress code, which management explained over the phone (but did not detail “no athletic wear”). I noticed a few YouTube videos of Nikki Beach Miami with guests wearing sports jerseys, which seemed to fit the vibe of the beach club.
On the day of the event my friend and I arrived in sports jerseys and were turned away at the door. I explained my confusion to the manager given I called and did research on the beach club. Nonetheless to avoid causing issues for other guests who were arriving my friend and I bought t-shirts at a nearby store to get in (despite a loud attitude by the manager and security at the door)
Once in, management notified us that their system was down, and were not able to process credit/debit cards. Cash only. We again decided to proceed with our reservation and meal. After a mix-up with our orders we were ready to pay. Our waiter said their system was fixed. He took my card and did not return for roughly 30 minutes. When he did he apologized saying the system was still down. Frustrated we gathered cash from everyone when another manager (who we requested) arrived saying they could process my card. So I gave it to him and he returned with a portion of our bill on the credit card, and requested the other option in cash.
Confused I asked why was there a split. He said he didn’t know we wanted it all on the card. At no time did I request any of the bill split nor did I give him more than one card. This entire process took nearly two hours -between the back and forth, the system being down (they also weren’t letting people in because they couldn’t access their reservations, so some of my friends arriving after me had to walk around the beach side entrance and basically sneak in (to their own reservation).
It was an entirely disorganized, disingenuous and frustrating experience for a place that sells an upscale atmosphere. Between the dress code (which seemed to clearly target black guests), lack of clear communication, and system issues that created a terrible experience for everyone, my friends and I will never visit Nikki Beach again and will not recommend anyone who asks...
Read moreMy friends and I came to Nikki Beach Miami a couple of days ago (09/15/25) to celebrate a birthday and were left extremely disappointed. We had been excited for the upscale, beachy environment it advertised, but the experience felt dishonest and left a bad taste in our mouths.
Before going, we tried calling to clarify pricing since it was unclear online. We understood there was a $75 charge for the day bed plus $50 per person, with the first purchase being a bottle. That was fine, as we planned to order food and drinks anyway. When we arrived, we asked to see the bottle menu. The hosts showed us a menu where the first three pages were high-end champagnes ($250+), but the fourth page included more reasonable wines around $55–60. Based on this, we agreed to stay and were led to a day bed. The bed was directly next to another couple so we asked if we could do one beside it for more privacy. We were told no even though there were many beds that weren't being used.
When our server brought the ordering menu, however, the fourth page had “disappeared.” I politely asked for it back, assuming it had fallen out. Instead, she told us condescendingly that the “proper bottle service menu” did not include those options. After pushing back, she eventually returned with the original menu but rudely insisted we could only order from the bottom five rosés—none of which were under $150. She insisted that "we were told" by the hosts that it was "bottle service". At that point, we felt pressured to agree to a $160 rosé (which I don’t even like) because she already had my credit card and ID and didn't return them until the bill was paid.
We shared with her that we felt misled—being shown one menu before committing and another after—and she doubled down, repeating “you were told it was bottle service.” It wasn’t about the money. It was about the dishonesty and the shady way prices were hidden until after we were locked in.
Between the lack of transparency, the rudeness, and the feeling of being scammed, the entire day was ruined. I would not recommend Nikki Beach if you value honesty or...
